Chapter 27

After the tension from earlier dispersed. We ate pizzas and started playing games. With no alcohol involved this time, for me at least, we played truth or dare Jenga. It was actually really fun and I learned things about my classmates that I didn't know before. After we got bored of that, we moved on to 'never have I ever'. The game itself was super easy but the questions were starting to get more and more personal as everyone, except Leo and I, kept drinking.

"Never have I ever had sex," Freya giggled. I left my finger up and so did Leo. Everyone else except Freya put a finger down.

"Never have I ever had a secret crush on someone," Ryker said. Most of us put a finger down, including myself.

"Wait, Sky... you have a secret crush?" Ryker asked curiously.

"I did before, but it's not really a secret anymore," I answered vaguely.

"Do we know who it is?" Cody asked.

"That's not how this game works. You can't ask follow up questions," Easton covered for me.

"Fine, then let's just play truth or dare without the Jenga blocks this time," Ryker suggested. Everyone except Easton, Leo, and me quickly agreed.

"Sky, truth or dare?" Ryker jumped onto the next game quickly.

"Dare," I said quickly, knowing he was looking to out my secret crush.

"I dare you to kiss Freya," he smirked at me. I froze as my eyes went to Leo. I didn't know what to do. Freya was nice and all, but most definitely not my type. And I couldn't kiss her in front of my boyfriend, that would be weird. Leo acted quickly. He pulled me into a brief kiss with him before glancing at Ryker.

"If you think I'm going to let you bully my kid, you must have forgotten who I am. Sky isn't going to kiss anyone but me. Got it?" Leo said firmly.

"Well technically..." Easton started.

"If you think I've forgiven you for your stunt Easton, You're lying to yourself," Leo cut him off.

"Oh come on! You can't still be mad about that. I backed off, didn't I?" Easton whined.

"Did you? I sure as hell couldn't tell," Leo retorted. The rest of the group was still trying to process what was going on.

"Easton, you kissed Sky?" Cody asked, dumbfounded.

"Well, at the time I didn't know Sky and Leo had a thing. Actually, they didn't know it either. Technically, I was the driving force that helped you get together, so you're welcome," Easton said before sticking his tongue out at Leo.

"So both of you... Leo and Easton... you're both gay," Sawyer asked, trying to grasp the situation.

"Of course not," Easton said at the same time Leo said 'yes'. Leo and Easton glanced at each other before Leo sighed and shook his head.

"You're an idiot," Leo muttered to Easton. Easton seemed to finally realize his slip up as he looked around the circle.

"I mean, yes. We both like Sky, and Sky is a boy which makes us gay, right?" Easton failed at trying to correct himself.

"I knew it! Sky isn't a boy, is he?" Freya said as she stood quickly.

"Of course Sky is a boy," Leo defended me.

"Prove it," Freya countered.

"What? You want me to drop my pants?" I asked sarcastically. Freya only smirked as she crossed her arms.

"Actually there's an easier way... just lift up your shirt," she challenged as she came closer to me. Leo stepped in front of my and grabbed her wrist.

"I dare you to try it," Leo glared at her.

"Oh my god, Sky is a girl," Ryker said as he sat back against the couch in shock.

"It makes sense why Leo was always so overprotective of you now. He knew all along," Sawyer added. My face turned red in embarrassment as I saw the realization hit everyone at different times. I sighed before hanging my head slightly. The truth was out.

"Okay, fine. I am a girl," I admitted. Freya smirked before sitting back down as Leo gave me a questioning look.

"But how?" Sawyer asked. I went on to explain how I ended up at Preston Hills and my purpose for being there. I explained how Leo came to protect me and how Easton found out too. After about half an hour, they knew everything.

"So Leo has always been interested in you?" Freya asked. I shrugged.

"That's a question you should ask him, but originally, I didn't come to Preston Hills to date. In fact, it was a big tension between Leo and I because I tried to avoid my feelings for him to avoid a situation like this one, but in the end I couldn't do it," I explained.

"You're better than the entire team at fencing. You're consistently winning and helping us get to Nationals. I can understand why you hid yourself. I won't tell anyone," Sawyer promised.

"Me neither," Cody and the other two girls said right after him. The only ones left were Ryker and Freya.

"I knew you were too cute to be a boy. Sorry about messing with you. I won't tell anyone. I owe you at least that," Ryker gave in. Everyone was quiet as all eyes went to Freya.

"If it makes you feel any better, Leo has antisocial personality disorder. Him talking to someone at all is a miracle that only Sky could do. You wouldn't have even been able to see him in person if it wasn't for her," Easton said to convince her.

"Fine, I'll keep my mouth shut. What happens at your school is none of my business anyway," she finally conceded. Easton stretched as he stood.

"Let's go to bed, we can hang out at the lake tomorrow. And now that everyone knows that Sky is a girl, she won't have to suffer heatstroke trying more to get wet," Easton said. Everyone stood and started going to their respective rooms. Leo followed me back to our room quietly and closed the door behind us.

"I'm sorry. It's all my fault everyone knows. I got worried during the game," he apologized. I smiled lightly and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"It was actually thanks to Easton's big mouth. That wasn't your fault. I actually feel better that they know. It's tiresome holding onto the lie 24/7. For this little vacation I get to just be myself and enjoy my away time with you," I replied gently. His arms went around my waist as he placed a kiss on my head.

"At least you can take the binding off while you're here. We still haven't found a good alternative to that," he added.
