The next few minutes pass by in a blur, Adonis steps in front of Aisha to shield her in case Eros goes in for a blow.
And Aisha clings onto his back, starting to scream for father and mother, beginning her escape route to play the victim.

Eros stands in place glaring at her, his expression not giving away what he has in mind.

Father comes barging in, his gun held in hand, ready to blow off somebody's head as mother tails in after him.

When he sees that he recognizes everybody's face, he places his gun into his pockets, his gaze lingering on Eros for a moment.

"What is happening over here?" he asks, looking frustrated.

Aisha panics, afraid that one of us will blow her cover, she nervously shifts her weight from one foot to the other, stuttering as she attempts to form a response.

"W-well...me and Sienna were just having a little..." she looks towards me, her eyes teary and terrified "sisterly talk"

Adonis is staring at her in awe, Eros is looking straight at me, his gaze following my tears.

"Then why is your sister crying?" my father asks as he walks towards me, he crouches down in front of me and tilts his head to meet my gaze.

"What did you say to her Aisha?"

"You know how oversensitive Sienna is, honey, just let her be until she recovers on her own, Aisha probably told her a mean joke, they're young, let them solve it out" my mother waves it off, going over to calm my pretentious sister down.

"Natalia, I wasn't speaking to you, so please do not interrupt me" my father glares at her as she rolls her eyes, "Sienna...what happened?" he continues, suspiciously staring at the gun in my trembling hands.

"I-it's nothing" I reply instead, I don't want my father to know, I don't want to get them involved in my problems, that was what I got for standing up to Trevor the first day of class, that was what I got for believing I had a chance in this man dominated world.

"Adonis, what happened?" my father then turns to face him, standing to his feet.

Aisha visibly tightens her grip on his arm, silently begging him not to.

Adonis looks conflicted, wondering whether he should side with his lover or her father.

"Sir, the thing is..." he begins.

"If you don't tell them, I fรผcking will!" Eros explodes, he grabs the gun in my hands and cocks it against Aisha's head.
"Tell them" he yells, not moving an inch even as my mother starts screaming.

Adonis attempts to shove him away, but he doesn't budge.
My father, on the other hand, stands with his arms crossed, deep in thought.
"Start talking," Eros says through gritted teeth, his hand shaking in anger as he tries to refrain from killing her just because she is my sister.

"I didn't mean any harm..."

"Like hell you did, start speaking Aisha" he presses it further against her head as she starts wailing, looking around in panic.

"Fine!" she screams, grabbing me by the collar of my dress.
"I was just telling big sis here, how much I fรผcking hate her and how I wish she'd just die" she snarls.
My mother gasps in shock but my father listens intently as if he anticipated this.

"Go on, finish the fรผcking story, tell them how you were encouraging her to end her life, you sick excuse of a human, you kept feeding her fake scenarios to mess with her head, to lower her self esteem and her trust in everybody who loves and cares for her, how do you sleep at night after watching what you confessed to witnessing her go through without even stepping in or calling for help, how do you close your eyes at night knowing that your sister went through all of that on her own, masked her true emotions with a smile just so no one would worry for her, you're disgusting and a disgrace to all women-"

"Eros...p-please" my hands wrap around his arm, begging him to stop.

"Witness her go through what?" my mother asks.

Eros stares at me, his expression saddened and pain covering all of his features.
"Finish your sentence, Arcin" my father interjects, sounding impatient.

"Sienna was r*ped, mother" Aisha states innocently, a smirk tugging at her lips when she looks at me.
"By the firstborn son of that friend of yours, father, Mr Foyers was it?" she continues to say, her voice dripping in mocking sarcasm.

I break down into further tears and block out everything else as I feel Eros wrap his arms around me.

My mother screams in shock and I hear the sound of my father's fist going through something before he grabs his gun and disappears down the hallways.

I close my eyes, no longer wanting to be here, within these four walls with these 3 people who have been nothing but monsters to me.

"P-please, just get me out of here..." I whisper, sighing in relief when he lifts me up, carrying me into his embrace as I register us exiting the dining hall.

He makes his way upstairs, his grip gentle and protective around me.

He presses a kiss to my forehead and I nuzzle further into him when we enter my darkroom.

My arms slip from around his neck when he lowers me down onto the bed.
He moves to grab his phone and car keys, no doubt going to catch up with my father.

But for now, I just want him to stay with me.

"Please, don't go..." I whisper, clutching onto his shirt.
"At least stay a little longer"

He looks conflicted, running a stressed hand down his face, a silent form of understanding takes place between us and he gently nods his head, sliding in beside me, I feel his arms wrap around my tired body before he pulls me to his chest.
I push away all the troublesome thoughts of what went down in there not too long ago, all the horrible memories of that one night I try to forget every minute of my life and instead try to calm myself.
I let my breathing adjust, listening to the constant steady beat of his heart as I close my eyes.

I feel his hands, tracing circles on my shoulder, his beautiful scent flooding into my nose, and knowing he's beside me, I drift off to sleep, unaware of the horrors that lay ahead.

What he is willing to go through in my stead.
