Chapter 8 : Madelyn
Sunday, July 18th, 2021

I’ve been awake since 6:00 this morning in preparation for the busy day to come.

After leaving the cafe on Friday, I spent a long time speaking to Carter and his fiancee Jules, trying to plan everything out.

However, despite those efforts, it didn’t change just how hectic everything already is.

In the time span of only a few hours, I’ve gotten plenty of close ups of the bride’s hair and makeup being applied, the groom in his hotel suite, as well as some group shots of the bridesmaids and groomsmen together.

Well more so the girls and half of the guys, because three of the groomsmen are currently no shows. Carter wasn’t bothered by this though, and seemed to have expected it.

Whatever works I guess.

Most of my morning was spent getting ready for today and taking shots at the suit. Now, it was just past 3:30.

Within ten minutes, the outdoor venue became swarmed with the family and close friends of the soon-to-be newlyweds.

I watch as more and more people begin to arrive, and I recall Carter mentioning earlier that there were just over 200 people invited.

It was a little much for one photographer to shoot on their own, but he still insisted on sticking with me. I can’t really complain, though. Not only did I need the money, but I also needed this. I didn’t realize how much I missed my job until actually being here on this site.

The large gathering area was located right along a beautiful lake, fully bloomed trees filling in the space. The best way I can think to describe the venue is as a recreation of the wedding from Twilight.

There are multiple lines of dark wooden benches in two rows for seating, a white rose petal covered aisle leading down the center. At the end is a stunning wedding arch made up of vines, branches, wood, and flowers, with glowing lanterns hanging from the tree branches behind it.

This was undoubtedly the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever worked before, but was also one of the largest.

Soon, the majority of the guests were gathered at the venue, the sound of light chatter filling the air.

The ceremony is supposed to start in about a half hour, but until then, I walk around capturing an arrangement of photos of the location itself, and other additional touches.

“Hey guys, long time no see.” I hear a voice call from not too far behind me. Turning around, I’m extremely startled to see Caleb standing only a handful of feet away, accompanied by two other men.

What the hell is he doing here?

Taking in the sight before me, I see that they’re all dressed in matching suits, tailored perfectly to fit their tall, muscular frames.

I thought Caleb towered over me, but he was the shortest of the three. Of course, he was still the same infuriatingly handsome person I saw only a few days ago, except this time he was dressed up. Next to him stood two others, just as impossibly attractive.

The tallest of the three had dark black hair that was styled perfectly, just like the short trimmed beard on his face. I’m almost positive that he was Italian, but I could be wrong.

From this angle, I could see the faint outline of his muscles through his clothes, along with a handful of tattoos that peak out from the cuffs of his suit and up the sides of his neck. When he shifts, I catch sight of a long scar that trails down his forehead, cutting directly through his right eyebrow.

I wonder how he got that?

Now that he’s turned more, I can see he has warm brown eyes, but they don’t match his cold, scary presence. Caleb’s friend seems extremely disinterested in being here as a short redhead went around hugging each of them.

To his left was the third man whose curly brown locks fell in intricate spirals on top of his head. Like me, he too had green eyes, but what really caught my attention was how defined his jaw line was. I may be exaggerating here, but it seriously looked sharp enough to cut. He was thinner than the others, but he too seemed to have some sort of Italian genetics in his blood.

There was something different about the way he held himself, though. It seemed like every movement he made was planned, and as if he was analyzing everything and everyone around him.

I mentally cursed myself for the way my body practically vibrates with need at the mere sight of them, but I can’t help it.

Together, they looked like they could be the offspring of the Greek Gods, just with more tattoos.

I don’t know how the redhead was so comfortable with them, because I felt so unbelievably intimidated right now and they weren’t even talking to me.

None of them have noticed me yet, but I hope to keep it that way for as long as I possibly can.

I embarrassed myself enough around Caleb the other day. The last thing I need is a repeat, especially while I’m trying to work— especially when there’s now three of them.

If his friends were anything like Caleb, I would be screwed in an instant.

Before they had the chance to notice my presence, I turned and left to get ready for the actual ceremony itself. It should be starting soon now that all of the guests are here.

I couldn’t avoid Caleb forever, but for now, I continue to take pictures of everything around me, more so to distract myself at this point, and not because I need to.

“Madelyn, is that you?” I hear a familiar male voice ask from behind me.

Oh no.

Sure enough when I turn around, there stands Caleb along with his extremely good looking company. My heart instantly speeds up at the sight of them in this closer proximity, and there’s no mistaking the dominance that radiates off of them.

Jesus Madelyn, get it together.

“Hey, Caleb. It’s nice to see you again.” I smile, in an attempt to cover up my nerves.

Don’t be awkward, don’t do anything to embarrass yourself.

“It’s nice to see you too, though I’ll admit, I didn’t expect to see you here.”

“Yeah, this is the wedding I was talking about on Friday.” I say, lifting my camera to indicate I was the photographer.

Caleb smiles before one of his friends clears their throat.

“Sorry. These are my co-workers and close friends Xavier Alcaraz and Alec Sawyer.” Caleb introduces. “Guys, this is Madelyn Adams, the girl I was telling you about from Jolene’s place.”

He spoke about me? I figured he would’ve forgotten us meeting all together, and we would never speak again. Apparently the universe had other plans.

The scary one, Xavier, reaches out his hand for me to shake and I do so. Looking up at him, I can’t help but eye the violent scar he bore on his face. It shouldn’t, but the sight of it caused me to squeeze my thighs together slightly. It made him look both equally dangerous and powerful at the same time.

He, however, does not seem to have the same intrigued reaction for me that I do for him, because he quickly moves his hand away as if my touch had burned him.

My eyebrows narrow slightly at his action, but I try not to think too much into it.

I then go to shake Alec’s hand, but he seems to have a different idea in mind. Instead, he grabs mine and brings it up to his lips, pressing them against my skin.

I am a little shocked by this gesture, but even more at the tingles shooting up my arm from the contact.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Madelyn.” Alec greets, rubbing the spot he kissed before lowering my hand.

“Likewise.” I say, trying to fight down the blush threatening to appear on my cheeks.

I know I’ve met Caleb before, but can’t help but find Alec’s voice to be familiar as well, “You guys wouldn’t happen to be the remaining groomsmen, would you?”

“That’s us.” Alec answers, confirming my question.

Of course they are. That means I’m going to have to take a lot of photos of them in the upcoming hours to make up for them not being here this morning.

It’s not like they were rude people or anything, but I wanted to be around them as little as possible. I found them to be insanely overpowering and it only added to the nerves that I was continuously trying to contain.

“Well I’m sure I’ll see you three around later then, but I should probably go and make sure everything’s set up.” I say, grabbing the sides of my camera with my hands.

“We’ll see you there shortly.” Caleb responds.

Giving them one last nervous smile, I turn and move to where the ceremony is about to take place. The truth is that I really didn’t need this much time to set my camera settings, but I felt as though I was about to explode under their watch.

Caleb had the same affect on me as earlier, and as if that weren’t enough, there were two more of them.

I don’t think Xavier likes me though. He hasn’t said a word to me, and I’m pretty sure I was lucky that he even acknowledged I was there by shaking my hand.

Whatever, I don’t want to think about them anymore. Right now, I just need to focus on doing my job. It’s hard to do, however, when I could suddenly feel those intense gazes on the back of my head once again.

________

The ceremony itself didn’t take long at all. I managed to get some really great shots of the bride and groom, as well as the bridal parties on each side. In my peripheral vision, I saw Caleb, Xavier, and Alec watching me as I worked, but I was able to ignore it for the most part.

Their attention on me was more stressful than they knew, yet at the same time, it only added to the rapidly increasing wetness forming in between my legs.

I couldn’t deny the effect they had on me, but I could temporarily push it aside through the use of distractions.

Somehow, I managed to get through the cocktail hour, the entrances, and the speeches without doing something totally embarrassing like falling on my face. Thankfully for me, the time for my much needed break was getting close.

I always pack grab and go snacks to keep me functioning throughout the day, but I typically only get to eat one or two actual meals on shoot days.

Once the bride and groom are sitting down for dinner, is the only time I’m able to get a real break. Most people have no interest in getting their picture taken while they’re eating, and Carter and Jules are no different.

Since they are now seated, I take this as an opportunity to grab something for myself.

The other vendors and I are set up at our own table, in a small room right off of the reception area. We got a separate meal—as provided by the caterers—, so all I had to do was get there now.

While the ceremony was shot outside, people were able to grab food in the same main building I was heading to.

Walking in through the large entrance, I make my way inside of the brightly lit building.

The sound of conversation and laughter could be heard from a distance, along with the sound of my shoes echoing with each step I take.

I was alone in the long hallway, until I went to turn the corner. There, not too far down, is Caleb and Alec walking towards me with the redhead from earlier wrapped in between them.

Shit, I’m so not ready to talk to them again.

Too busy focusing on the smiling girl, they failed to see me standing there, contemplating on what to do.

I could talk to them again and probably embarrass myself, or I could just pray they don’t come this way.

Liking the idea of option two better, I move back around the wall and find myself having to improvise as they continue in my direction.

I could see a door to my right, and figured it had to lead to somewhere.

Taking my chances, I slip inside of the dark room, before closing the door behind me. I think I was in some sort of storage closet, but it was almost too big and too empty to be considered one.

Apart from the few shelves and boxes that occupied the space, it was just me in the room.

I listen as their steps get closer and closer, in turn causing my heart to speed up. A giggle sounds from the girl with them, and it of course comes from right outside of the door.

The noise of their footsteps cease, and I know that I’m screwed.

Oh, please no.

Seeing the handle twisting, I ever so quietly bolt in behind what looks to be a book shelf that holds multiple bins, files, and other random things. Either way, it covered me and that’s all that mattered.

The three of them stepped inside of the room, and my heart dropped at the sound of the door closing behind them. I quieted my breaths, not wanting them to reveal my presence.

“We’re going to have to be quick, before people notice we’re gone.” A person who I’m guessing to be Caleb says.

Jesus, you just had to be a coward and avoid them.

My hand clasps around my mouth and my eyes shut tight in frustration with myself. The second I hear clothes being removed, I know that it’s too late to leave.

Their movements are frantic, and I don’t need my eyes open to know that the girl was just pressed into the wall.

I hear the sound of a zipper being undone before Alec speaks into her ear, “You’re going to be quiet for us, right?”

The girl hummed in response at him, and that seemed to be all he needed to hear.

“Good.” He says, and in one fluid motion, Alec snaps his hips forward.

A sharp gasp leaves the girl’s mouth, as her hands have to press against the wall to brace herself.

For a few seconds, no one moves, allowing her time to adjust. Only when the girl lets out a low whine, does Alec take that as an indication that she wants more.

He draws back, before once again thrusting himself forward, this time with enough force that I can hear the sound of their skin meeting.

“Oh my god.” The girl moans in pleasure at the contact.

I know I’m going to go to hell for this, but I can’t stop myself as my eyes open, and I look through a crack between two boxes.

It’s so unbelievably wrong, but the sight before me causes me to press my legs together to try and subdue the intense pressure that has formed.

Like I predicted, the redhead’s front is pressed into the wall, moaning continuously as Alec pounds into her from behind. His bottom lip is tucked in between his teeth, and his face has fallen into a state of complete concentration.

Every movement of Alec’s body is perfectly coordinated as he drives himself harder and deeper into the girl at her request.

When her cries become too loud, Caleb steps in and connects his lips to hers. And by connects, I mean dominates. He took control entirely, using the force of his mouth to quiet the sounds coming out of her.

This had to be the hottest thing I’ve ever seen, and as wrong as it is, I wish I were in the girl’s position.

The only time I’ve ever orgasmed was by my own hand, but the person before me could barely contain herself. I don’t blame her; I could barely contain my own breaths.

While being here made me feel guilty, I can’t deny how insanely turned on I am right now. It couldn’t have been more than ten minutes, but it felt like an eternity standing here.

My legs were pressing together so tightly it almost hurt, and I had to conjure all of my willpower to stop myself from touching myself right then and there.

“Fuck, Alec please.” The girl pleads as he places a hand on each of her hips. With this new grip, he pulls her body towards him as he begins to ram into her earnestly.

The girl squeals, sticking her ass out to counter each of Alec’s thrusts. Pressing her face and one hand against the wall for support, her other drops to Caleb’s pants.

He groans when she rubs the outline of his dick through the expensive material he still wore over top. In turn, Caleb reaches down to circle her clit.

This seems to be all she needed because his touch caused her knees to bow in together, and a string of curses to fall from her parted mouth.

“Put your hands on the wall and don’t move them until I tell you otherwise.” Caleb demands, lightly biting her earlobe afterwards.

I can physically see her shiver at how commanding his voice was, and I do the same.

“Please.” She whimpers, and with an exceptionally hard thrust, the girl shatters entirely. Her legs shake beneath her as Alec continues his strokes at a brutal pace. The men have to hold her up as she enters a state of pure bliss.

“That’s it, just let go for us.” Caleb encourages her, but doesn’t stop his movements on her clit. Neither does Alec.

Despite already coming, the men work the tired girl’s body back up to yet another high. By the time they draw a second orgasm from her body, they are in complete control.

The girl can’t even counter Alec’s thrusts anymore as she is used primarily for his pleasure now.

Caleb has to hold his hand against her mouth to catch the noises coming out of her, continuing to circle her sensitive spot with two fingers.

I could hear how wet she was and I could tell that the men were once again about to drive her over the edge for the third time in under twenty minutes.

“Cum for us, Katherine.” Caleb orders, before drawing back and landing a light slap on her clit. While there was little force to it, his action sends her over into one last climax.

Her screams are muffled by the hand covering her mouth, and her trembling body has to be held up at this point because of how hard it was shaking.

Finally satisfied, Caleb removes his hand from between her legs, just for Alec to bottom out inside of the girl.

He swears under his breath, before spilling into his condom with a satisfied groan.

Everyone is panting, but Alec’s hold still remains on her hips. The girl, Katherine, would have collapsed at this point if it weren’t for the two of them.

After a few seconds, Caleb’s hand falls from the girl’s mouth, allowing her and Alec to recover from their orgasms as heavy breaths leave their bodies.

As for me, I am struggling to comprehend what just happened. The need to touch myself is so strong I can barely think, but I know I can’t. I only get one 25 minute break— or 15 minutes now, and I really need them to leave so I can eat something.

It doesn’t take long for Alec to dispose of his condom and get dressed, while Caleb checks in on the girl to make sure she’s okay. She very much is, just a little worn out.

But while Alec leaves the room, Caleb leans over and whispers something into her ear, so quiet that even I couldn’t hear him. Whatever he said, brought a devilish smile to her face.

Turning towards him, the girl leans in and smashes her lips to his, before moving on to kissing along the side of his neck. Caleb seems to have a different idea in mind though. Instead, he guides her body to the floor by pushing gently on her shoulder.

Following his wishes, within seconds, the girl is on her knees and working to undo his belt. When she finally does so, she drags his pants and boxers down at the same time.

Holy fuck.

Caleb’s back is leaning against the wall across from me, and because of this, Katherine’s body blocks the sight of him completely.

She tilts her head up to meet his eyes, but doesn’t do anything as if she’s awaiting his command.

This only causes him to smile. “Go on. Let’s put that mouth of yours to good use, shall we?”

I can’t see her expression, but I do see the way her knees press together from the position she’s in. She seems to be just as turned on at the idea as I am.

I can hear as she opens her mouth to lick a long stripe along the underside of his cock.

While it’s fairly dark, I watch as Caleb reaches down to create a makeshift ponytail, his hands tangling in her hair to keep it out of her face.

In turn, the girl earns a soft moan from him as she wraps her lips just around his head, hollowing her cheeks as she does so.

Caleb closes his eyes, but something I notice is that he never forces her deeper. I can’t help but be a little shocked, because that’s so much different from what Noah was like with me. He would always move before I was ready and was the real reason why I hated giving head so much.

But unlike him, Caleb never once pushes her deeper or moves his hips forward. His actions are primarily to keep her hair out of the way.

On her own, the girl inhales through her nose as if urging herself to relax as she takes him further down her throat. Her gag reflex kicks in almost instantly, but this only seems to please Caleb more by the way it elicits a deep groan from his mouth.

“That’s good, take me just like that.” Caleb says as the girl hums around his cock.

With one hand on his hip and the other gripping his base, the redhead begins to bob her head up and down at a much faster pace.

Seeing Caleb like this was so unbelievably hot, and I couldn’t help but want to be the one who makes him feel that way.

Instead, I’m hiding and practically shaking with both need and adrenaline.

As I watch every beautiful facial expression that forms on Caleb’s godlike face, I find myself stuck in a trance known as Caleb Harris.

He is so perfect it’s inhuman and the worst part is that there are two others outside just like him. Two other attractive, incredibly powerful men, that wield a dominance that made me want to submit in a way I’ve never felt before.

I don’t know them, but I can’t deny just how intriguing I find them to be.

All three have this effect on me that I find to be extremely confusing, but not entirely in a bad way. After all, it is the reason I ended up in this room.

This time, Caleb does not finish as soon as Alec did. He’s definitely enjoying what the girl is doing, but he looks a little too tense to fully let himself go. It’s like he needs something to push him over the edge.

I can tell he’s becoming a little frustrated by the way his eyes pinch shut, but as his hands tighten their grip on the girl’s hair, I can tell he’s close.

“Fuck.” He curses, his eyes opening and his head snapping in my general direction because of where he’s standing.

My heart is racing at an inhuman rate, but I have to remind myself that he can’t see me. These shelves are tall enough that they nearly touch the ceiling— there’s no way my body’s showing.

Except, his eyes haven’t left this spot since he found it.

He looked to be searching for something, determination on his face. His gaze flicked up and down the wall that was behind me, and then it stopped, landing on where I stood.

No.

I take a step back, but his eyes meet mine, finally capturing what he was searching for. In that same second, Caleb’s head falls back against the wall as his muscles visibly clench.

With his eyes remaining on me, it was clear that something had changed inside of him.

With an exceptionally deep stroke, Caleb’s hands grab Katherine’s head, and just hold her there in place.

I hear her gag around him and the sharp inhale she takes through her nose. At the same time, Caleb lets out a deep groan before cumming hard down her throat.

The entire time, Caleb keeps his head forward, but I don’t miss the look of pleasure that passes across his features.

Fuck. He looked so unbelievably hot in that moment I just about came myself. I couldn’t even bring myself to care at the possibility I was caught.

I could feel how wet I was and I wanted nothing more than to relieve the pressure, but I couldn’t. I’m pretty sure it’s too late for dinner now, but that’s not my focus right now.

Instead, I turn my body from the crack and rest my forehead on one of the shelves trying to compose myself.

Maybe he didn’t see me? After all, it was fairly dark and it’s not like I was standing in the wide open.

If he did, he showed no indication of it. Instead, he too composed himself, redoing his pants and lifting the girl up from her knees.

Caleb planted a light kiss on her forehead, before pulling away.

“I’ll see you around, okay?” He tells her and she looks up at him with a tired smile.

“Yeah. You have my number, feel free to call me anytime.”

Caleb just gives her a tight smile, before opening the door for her.

“After you.”

The girl walks out of the room, leaving Caleb standing at the door.

Shit, why isn’t he leaving?

Please don’t turn around.

Thankfully, he doesn’t and instead follows the girl out only seconds later. I’m left here on my own.

For the first time in the last 20 minutes, I feel like I can breathe again.

That was the craziest thing I’ve ever done before, and while it wasn’t intentional, I learned something about myself just now.

I wanted that to be me— being touched by two men at the same time. The sight itself was so erotic I was getting turned on again from just thinking about it.

My god, Madelyn, get a grip on yourself.

I should be worrying that I might have been caught, but right now, I just want to get out of here.

Stepping out from behind my spot, I move to where Caleb was standing only seconds ago, and a rush of relief passes through my body. Looking at the shelf from Caleb’s position, I see that where my body once was is completely covered by boxes and the dark.

He really didn’t see me.

This isn’t that big of a deal, and once I realize that, I have to push down my rapidly growing hunger that appears.

I don’t even think I have time for dinner anymore.

I waited for about five minutes just to make sure they had fully left, before moving to the door.

Taking one final breath, I step out and quietly shut it behind me.

However, when I turn around, I jump at the sight of Xavier leaning against the wall. Our eyes instantly connect, and he just stares at me with an unreadable expression on his face.

Oh shit.

How long had he been standing there? He must know that I was in there, but he doesn’t say a thing. It’s only at this moment that I realize Xavier hasn’t said a single word to me.

I wonder why, though? Did I do something to make him dislike me?

Based on the fact that he seemed very nonchalant, I choose to convince myself that he doesn’t know. Xavier probably recently showed up, and just missed Alec and Caleb leaving.

He doesn’t know.

“Hi.” I awkwardly smile at him as I move to walk away, but I don’t get a response.

Instead, I notice that his once light eyes have gone almost as dark as his hair.

I have to shake off how chillingly familiar they look as I move away a little quicker than I usually would.

He’s so intimidating and he hasn’t even needed his voice to prove it. The confident way he carries himself is enough.

Leaving him behind, I suddenly become aware of how tired I am, and the fact that my entire break was spent hiding.

Having to forget about food, I moved out of the building and back to where everyone else was.

I see many people now outside again, including Caleb and Alec. But unlike a few minutes ago, they do not seem happy and are anything but relaxed.

Not too far from where I’m standing, I can easily tell that the two are both worried and angry about something. Or maybe at someone?

They’re talking to a new girl who’s sitting on one of the white fold-up chairs, facing away from me.

I take a couple of steps down from the main entrance before both of their heads snap up to look at mine.

They instantly tense up at the sight of me, but it’s not them who cause me to freeze in place. No, it’s the person they’re speaking with.

Seated next to them is the exact same curly haired brunette from only a few nights ago— the one from my hallucination.

A hallucination, that’s what I was told.

I was underslept.

It was dark.

There was no evidence.

So then how is she real? How is this happening right now? And then something clicks and the realization horrifies me.

Xavier, Caleb, and Alec.

Alec’s voice sounded familiar— Alec was the one who grabbed me. I recognized those black eyes just now— Xavier had the gun. And then, of course, Caleb was also there, kicking down a man until there was no fight left in him.

No.

It can’t be true, but it is.

Just like me, they look startled, but for different reasons. They’ve been caught, and now I don’t know what to do.

I jump and move when I feel a hand touch my shoulder, but the large body moves with me.

Xavier.

His touch resumes on my body, keeping me planted on the spot. He just stands there behind me as the fear accumulates in my mind.

How did I not know? How did the police not know?

His breath on my neck is chilling, but I can feel the heat of his body through my clothes. Either way, it causes goosebumps to form on my arms, and it’s not the good kind anymore. No, now I was terrified.

While Xavier’s eyes were brown when I met him today, there was only one other time where they went black— when he was murderous. He wanted to kill me.

No one at the table moves, they just stand there stunned. While Caleb and Alec look grim, the girl looks intrigued by my presence.

What the fuck is going on?

Xavier moves first, but I can’t bring myself to do the same.

My emotions are getting whiplash right now, and my mind spins a million miles per second as his face lowers beside mine.

I feel the scratchy brush of his cheek against my skin, and my senses become flooded with the expensive, masculine scent of Xavier Alcaraz.

For a split moment, his lips touch the tip of my ear sending sparks of both lust and fear through my body.

And then, he says his first word to me of the night.

“Run.”
