It was always so packed in these tiny 150 person lecture halls. Despite speed walking my ass off, there were still only a few odd seats remaining. Scanning the room, I decided on a seat in the middle of the third row. Now I just had to shimmy my way past the other sitting students to get to my seat.

“Excuse me, pardon me, sorry!” I said to all the people I passed on my way down the row to my seat. Just as I was about to sit down, a hand blocked me from getting to the seat.

“HEY! Watch it, I’m trying to take a seat!” I exclaimed, looking over my shoulder at the person the hand belonged to.

Oh shit... He was so hot. With dirty blonde curls, striking green eyes, a lean and fit physique, he was easily one of the hottest guys I’d seen on-campus.

“Well, too bad cause this seat’s taken. Better find another seat quick, the lecture’s about to start,” the stranger smirked.

Well, that quickly extinguished my infatuation with him. What a douche. Wish I could wipe that smug smirk off his face. Just five minutes on the mats and I could have him in an arm-bar crying for his mommy. Weight and size was irrelevant in martial arts, just as long as you could execute the throws with proper form.

“Dick,” I muttered under my breath as I looked for another seat nearby.

“What the fuck did you call me?” He replied, leaning closer with an intensity behind his gaze.

“I said you’re a dick. There’s clearly no one sitting there, and I’d be surprised if you even by some miracle HAVE a friend who would want to sit with you,” I shot back.

Just as the stranger opened his mouth to form a response, the professor’s voice enveloped the lecture hall signaling the start of class. I scurried out of the row to the nearest seat two rows back. Throwing my backpack in front of the seat and unzipping my jacket, I pulled out my laptop to take notes. The lecture flew by while in the back of my mind, I wondered if I’d see the stranger on the way out of the lecture. It was only September, the start of the semester, so I would definitely be seeing him at some point in the next four months.
