An Encounter to Remember Forever

Today she looked a bit different wearing a beautiful White Saree with Yellow border and contrasting Green blouse clearly indicating there is something special today...

Morning!! she greeted back looking up to her, shifting her attention from the pile of Answer Papers she was checking earlier then soon shifted her focus back to the Papers....

You are early today!! Shalini exclaimed..

Actually I will be taking half day off !! so thought of joining earlier to ensure I can take My Morning Lecture... Shivya answered still correcting the Papers...

Good !! But half day off..!? Kya baat hai Are you scheduled to meet someone...she exclaimed trading her

Hmm!! There is a marriage proposal.. she said without looking up without showing being affected...

Wow that's so exciting!! Have you meet him before too; how does he looks like and...she beamed again in excietement asking all the questions together making her sigh...

Aisa kuch nahi hai !! It's the first time I am meeting him.. and if you excuse me now Ma'am, I have a class to attend.... She said getting up from her seat fixing her pallu...

Ok Ok you must proceed I don't want to distrub you, par uske baad I am not going to leave your side until you answer my every question...she said teasing her...

Then I would make sure to take Consecutive lectures!! Alas question karna answer dene se toh better hi hai... she replied with a small smile and left to attend her class....

Later that Day..



Haa Maa!! I have reached aur abhi bhi 10 minutes aage hi hai ...Nahi honge late hum and don't worry I am wearing the necklace you suggested.....

Achaa let me call you later !! Baad mein baat karte hai...she said disconnecting the call walking towards the Coffee House, where the meeting was scheduled ....

She was keeping her phone to her purse when...

Aah!! She yelped bumping to someone and was about to hit the floor when a hand grabbed her waist to save her from falling...

While She kept her eyes closed waiting for the pain to occur but felt his muscular arms encircling her, she opened her eyes in shock but found herself almost embraced in a stranger's arms She was not able to see his eyes as he wore dark shades but his lips were very attractive, she was observing his features when....

Hey Miss!!watch out your way...itni jaldbaazi sahi nahi hoti...His deep voice alarmed her making her blink her eyes..!!

Ji I am Sorry..!! She said apologetically straightening up..

It's Ok beautiful I was thinking about!! He tried to speak but

Sorry!!I need to leave..she interrupted him mid-sentence and left...

Fine Have a Good Day..!! He said waving off by the time she already entered the Cafe...

She quickly entered the Cafeteria and placed her bag at her favourite place near the window where she already booked the table for two people...

Should I get something for you Mam..!! a waiter asked politely attending her table ...

Just a glass of water Please!! She replied after taking a deep breath as was slightly panting due to the rush to be here on time and the little stunt which was just pulled up accidentally ....

On the other hand the guy was thinking about the way she looked at him, and her beautiful brown eyes abruptly...



A thought crossed his mind and taking his shades off, he shoved his phone out

Hello Abhay Sir !!She will be there anytime.. a girl answered answering the Call in two rings...

Richa I am stuck at something reschedule the meeting by an hour..!!he said in a professional tone then quickly disconnected the call as his lips curved upto a smirk and entered the Cafe behind her...

Shivya beside fixed her hair and lipstick a bit which was somehow smudged and fixed her pallu at her shoulder....

She then shoved her phone out which beeped with a message from Abhay reading I will be late by half an hour...Sorry for the inconvenience....

Sighing again she kept her phone at the table, by the time the waiter arrived with her glass of water ....

Anything else Mam...!! He asked placing the glass for her...

Yes..!! Can you please reheat it...

She requested handling him her lunchbox ..which he readily took and left....

She then looked around herself sipping her water ...

The place was more busy than a usual Day and then shifted her attention towards the window somewhat getting lost when...

Hii!! Nice to see you again... a guy appeared break-in her thoughts...

Alone here, may I join you....!! He said in a jovial voice already getting ready to take the chair beside her...

Do we know each other!! She asked raising an eyebrow...

It doesn't takes much time to know people...he said now sitting beside her ....

Oo really!! she uttered in a warning tone looking at his move...

Ohh come on buddy!! Take it as a payback..humne aapko girne se bachaya and you are paying back by letting me sit here...He said with a wink...

But I am here to meet someone!! he must be coming anytime...She reasoned...

It's a lie !! he said with a smirk getting near her...

And how do you know that!! She questioned back...

And by my side Aap bhi wahi kar rahe hai...!! She said raising her left brow...

Nahi yaar look around you.. aapko lagta hai aisa kuch hoga..waise bhi it's just about an hour uske baad humari meeting hai and My table is already booked... he suggested...

Chal jhootha...!! Agar aisa hai toh aap abhi yaha kya kar rahe hai ...She exclaimed ...

Yaar Paani toh peene do pehle fir batate hai...!! He said taking her glass of water drinking from it...

Par woh jootha hai..!! She exclaimed but was late by the time as he gulped it all at a go....

Leave it!! Water is water afterall...he voiced..

Ok!! She said and shifted her attention again...

He looked at her in awe by the corner of his eyes looking at her big eyes and a small mole on her chin, but the thing which took away his heart was her curly wavy hair which was left down open and few stray strands of it which were on her cheeks..while she just look away hoping and waiting for his arrival early....

So.. Chaliye kuch order karte hai...

he initiated the conversation...

No thanks!! She shrugged..

Marzi aapki !! he smirked and signalled a waiter standing nearby using his middle and index finger to come, and he arrived instantly with the menu..

Taking which, he ordered two handbergers and extra cheese sandwich...; His orders seemed extravagant compared to his size as he was quite well built and looked more like a fitness freak...

She turned to look at him in surprise but he reasoned What's so surprising!!I am starving...!!

He then dismissed the guy and was about to speak again when the other waiter arrived with a plate and her lunchbox after reheating her food...

The aroma from it was drawing his mind to it..

Wow I would like to order this too...he said as he turned to leave....

Par yeh humara lunch hai..I haven't ordered it here..she voiced before the waiter could have answered...

Ok!! Please Just check that I get my orders early; he said getting serious all of a sudden...and the waiter left after nodding a Yes..

Shivya took her plate but somthing hit her and she passed it to him....

Order aane mein sayad time lage if you are Ok you can taste it!!

She offered but he readily took it and before she could have said anything...

He started shoving big bites of it into his mouth muttering Ahmm!! like moans of pleasure...

Making her awkward as she looked around them only to find many people glaring them strangely ...

Excuse me!! Aap please thoda kam shor macha ke kha sakte hai!!? She whispered enough for them to hear

Why!! He questioned..

Kyuki everyone is staring us aur yeh Ahmm yeh awaazein thodi awkward hai... She blurted after a small pause

Ohh this..!! Well it's because of this delicious food and logo ko kya hai let them stare I don't care about them...he said with muffled voice as his mouth was already stuffed ...

But I do!! She scowled

Ok Ok!! I will try to control myself ...he declared but after a while continued again..

Within almost few minutes he was done with her lunch...and handled her the empty box

I must say Aapke ghar ka Khana is awesome!! Will love to have it sometime soon.. he Complimented wiping his mouth with tissue

Hmm!! She replied looking at the empty box

Ahmm Sorry I didn't !! he said apologetically as realised he didn't left a bit of it for her...

Breakfast kar ke aaye thay and College lunch time usually ab se one hour baad hota hai..she justified

But Still I owe you something!!..I would appreciate ki aap humara Khana finish karne mein help kare hume... He said as the waiter arrived with his order and placed it before them

No please..Aap continue kare... She politely rejected scrolling her phone now

Let's atleast have a Coffee together... He insisted and without waiting for her reply placed the order...

She didn't said anything this time and diverted her attention again to her phone while he started to eat....

"Yeh hai imtehaan-e-Mohabbat humari

woh College Trustees visit pe aa gaye hai before time and I guess unhe aur jyada der hogi so it's good to reschedule this meeting... So Bye...!!

She narrated and left in rush ...

Excuse me Miss, you are ..... He tried to say looking at her untouched Coffe but she was already gone..

One Week later...

Bhabhi you got to wait now..Bhai will be coming soon... announced Abhay's younger sister from the group of girls who were surrounding her with cynical laughter and then left the place...



It was exactly 24 hours of her marriage with Abhay and ironically she hasn't seen him yet...

Dulha Sehre mein aaya tha and our Bride was in long Ghoonghat...it was an ethical Arranged Marriage and being alone in this beautifully decorated room was not at all helping her racing heart...

But I have to admit unki Family bahut achi hai...Mumma Raashi everyone, they are very welcoming and warm...

Shaadi ke liye bhi unki koi demands nahi thi... infact most of the expenses are managed by them....

Abhay Ji ki family is a joint family with 25 members... Atleast hume yaha baatein karne ke liye Company nahi dhundni padegi...

Kaash ji yeh baat hum ussay bhi bata pate... That call from Shalini that day made me so anxious that I forgot to ask him about his name too...forget about number...

Even hum gaye bhi thay uss Coffe shop mein, but waha se bhi kuch nahi pata Chala...

Par usko toh humare profile ka pata tha, he must have ....

Par wait hum uske baare mein kyu soch rahe hai, afterall he was just a stranger to me....Par baat toh karni thi na unse, I want to..

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door and she quickly fixed her veil to cover her face, then stepped in Abhay....

He was in his Maroon and off white contrast Sherwani, she had a glimpse of him as he slowly neared her...

And then sat near her...

And uss five minutes ki meeting mein aisa kya pata chal gaya aapko, jo official meeting mein pata nahi chalta... She asked pouting a bit in anger

No comments..!!. He replied making her sigh

Bus Nahi kehna Kuch... He shrugged keeping one of his hand below his head

Ofcourse I can... He said unaffected by her anger

I was in love with you at first sight..!! and to answer your question....uss meeting mein hume pata chala ki Aapke andar ik leehaz hai, jo abhi ke time mein khote ja raha hai sabke andar se...and kissed her forehead....

They then proceeded embracing each other and made love the whole night....

Five Years later...!!

It's been five years we are married, and Abhay ji ab bilkul reserved kind of person nahi hai....

Well by my side woh pehle.bhi nahi thay...but I have seen him being Grumpy around others...

Himmat karke poocha bhi tha humne unse why am I blessed to see him always jovial around me...

Aur unka answer tha wahi jo pehli raat ko tha..Biwi ke Samne uski Tariff karo toh uska dimaag kharab ho jaata hai...

Par ab hume bilkul bura nahi lagta aur humne uss din ke baad unse yeh question poocha bhi nahi...

Kuch baatein mann mein hi rahe toh achaa hai...

And Yes we are blessed with two kids...

Bhavya and Abhi...

Dono bilkul apne Papaji ki Carbon Copy hai...looks and nature dono mein...

He has really proved to be the best husband I can ever dream of...and the best part of our story is- Hum ab bhi uss Cafe mein jaate hai...usi seat pe aur ik dish ghar ki hoti hai, He says he enjoy being there ...

Uss din sahi kaha tha unhone, uss din ke baad hum kabhi waise nahi mile...

Anjaan se Jaan ban chuke hai woh humare....
