He Just Missed My Coffee

"Never give up on someone you love, great things take time."

Chapter 4

Azura's POV

I was too stunned to react. His soft, warm lips hungrily enveloped mine in a soul stirring kiss, as my hands went around his neck for support. My knees turned to jelly as he tightened his hold on my waist and moulded me to his body and I gasped in shock. He deepened the kiss, his tongue plunging into my mouth and playing with mine in a hot, passionate duel.

I never knew a kiss could be so mind blowing. It stirred my body, aroused my soul. He stole my first kiss but it was worth it.

When his mouth left mine to catch his breath, warmth crept to my cheeks, as I looked away. His intense stare, made me blush harder. "I told you, I will kiss you if you forget my name."

"I didn't forget," I told him, looking down. How could I forget him? Although I knew he was way out of my league, I still had sleepless nights dreaming about him. The way his penetrating grey eyes stared intently into my own, the way he spoke to me, the way he kept threading his fingers through his soft brown hair, his deep dimple on one cheek, all made me want to be near him all the time. It was a new emotion, a new feeling and I couldn't help myself when he was around.

He put his hand under my chin, lifting my face up to his, "Say it then, call me," he ordered.

"Are you two lovebirds coming in or what?" Yelled Emmy from inside the house.

I turned around to leave, intensely aware of his hot gaze upon me, his arm still encircling my waist, as he held me against him. "Adrian please let me go," I begged, knowing that they could all see us from inside the house.

"Say it again," he whispered as he grazed his lips against my ear.

"Adrian," I whispered as I closed my eyes.

Two loud squeals had us jumping apart as I blushed like a tomato," Azzee I wanna meet your boyfriend," said my seven year old sister, Crystal as she ran out of the house followed by her twin brother, Zachary,"No, I'll meet first," said Zachary as he ran faster.

"I'm Crystal, and this is Zachary. We're twins," said Crystal, as Adrian stared at them with a smile on his face.

"They're my siblings," I told him as he nodded in understanding.

"I'm Adrian," he said but before he could say anything further, Zachary said,"Oh we know, you're her boss and boyfriend."

Adrian grinned,"Oh, how did you know?" He asked playfully.

"You're friend told nana," Crystal informed him as he looked at me inquisitively.

"Let's go inside and let Adrian meet nana? Ok?" I asked and turned to go in, gesturing to Adrian to come in too.

As we entered the living room, Emmy shouted,"At last they remember us," and Theo chuckled.

I introduced Adrian to my grandmother,"Nana, this is Adrian Henderson, and Adrian, this is nana, my grandmother. She had respiratory problems after an asthma attack, so I came over to look after her,"

Nana smiled at Adrian,"Come here dear boy," she called Adrian as he went to her and sat down beside her. "You came all the way here for my Azura?" She asked with a smile as Adrian nodded, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment as Emerald and Theo chuckled.

"You have to share Azura's room with your friend here. Azee will sleep in Emmy's room. Is that ok? We don't have many bedrooms," nana said as Adrian smiled,"That's perfect nana," he said.

"When do you return? You can book tickets together. Azura also needs to join work," she said with worry.

"That's not necessary nana, we brought my private jet. We can leave together anyhow," said Adrian as my eyes popped out and I sat down at the nearest chair.

"You flew down here in your own jet just for Azzee?" Asked Emerald with disbelief.

"Yeah, not mine. It's my dads jet," he said casually.

"Say again that he's not your boyfriend and I'll throttle you," said Emerald as I rolled my eyes.

"Azura dear, show them to your room. They might need to freshen up before breakfast," said nana as I got up and led the way up the stairs to my bedroom. I went in and suddenly the door closed and I was alone with Adrian. I looked around for Theo but he wasn't there."Where's Theo?" I asked nervously.

Adrian shrugged his shoulders and came towards me. I went backwards till my back hit the nearby wall. Adrian came closer, I could feel his hot breath on my face as he stared at me.

"Why have you come?" I asked in a whisper but he heard me as he kept on staring, both his hands placed on the wall on either side of my head, completely blocking my escape.

"You don't know why?" He asked in a husky voice as his hand came up and trailed down my cheek.

"No," I said trembling as electric tingles coursed through my body at his touch.

" I just missed your coffee," he said as my eyes widened in disbelief. His hand reached my jawline, his thumb touched my lips, caressing them as his eyes stared at my lips in a hypnotic gaze, as his breathing became erratic.

I closed my eyes to concentrate on what I was thinking. I couldn't afford to lose control. "You came all the way from New York for my coffee?" I asked him confusedly.

"Yes," he said as he claimed my lips again. He kissed me passionately, deeply, his tongue exploring my mouth, devouring it like a hungry predator.

When he left me, I was a hot flustered mess, with swollen lips and a throbbing core. Ì stood there like a statue as he started unbuttoning his shirt, yanking it off him. I was mesmerised by his muscular body, his toned six pack abs, rippling biceps as if straight out of a GQ magazine.

"Do you want to shower with me?" He asked, as he came near me. My eyes widened as I came to my senses. Oh God! How could I stand there and watch his strip show. I ran to the door and out as he laughed heartily.
