The Girl That Was Broken Series: Book 3: Dove and Ripper

I had such hate for Ripper. He has continued to tell everyone that I will be claimed by him. Not happening at least until he can stop screwing other women and I can’t see that happening.

I was at one of our club parties when I was grabbed and held against the wall. I knew it was Ripper by his cologne.

“Ripper get your hands off me,” I told him.

“Dove you belong to me. You will always belong to me.”

“No, I won’t you cheating son of a bitch.”

Then he started to kiss me. He was the first man to ever kiss me. I started to moan as he kissed and licked my neck. “Stop it, Ripper.”

“I hate your guts. ”

“No Dove you don’t and you know it.”

I watched as he walked away from me and sat on his bike.

“Soon you will be mine, Dove.”

I watched him start his bike and ride away.

I am a senior and everyone at school thinks that Ripper is my boyfriend. He isn't. I have not forgiven him for lying to me and holding that girl on his lap kissing her.

He can go straight to hell. I walked back to the backyard and told my brothers what happened. I walked over to mom and told her I was going to take my bike out for a ride.

I just turned 17. Yes, I have a license and I have a nice bike. I had to get out of here for a while. I changed and rode my bike to the lake. I turned it off and sat down on the sand.

I took the kleenex out of my saddlebags. I looked out at the water. I could not stop the tears from falling. If only Ripper had not lied to me. Had not been having sex with another woman.

We would be sleeping in the same bed when I turned 16. But it is happening. If he really loved me he would not have or be doing those things.

I can guess how old he was when he stopped loving me. It would be when he turned 16. That is when he started having sex with other girls.

I know he feels something for me but it is not love. I blew my nose and threw the kleenex in the trash before getting on my bike.

I drove home and walked over to Rick. He is very handsome and does not have a girlfriend. I need a date for the prom. "Rick, can I talk to you?"

"Sure, what is it, Dove."

"I need a date for the prom. None of the boys at school will ask me out because they think Ripper is my boyfriend."

"Dove, I will take you to your prom. I am not scared of Ripper. Every girl should have a date."

I hugged him. "Thank you, Rick."

"No problem Dove."

I smiled as I walked over and sat next to Eagle.

"What has you smiling?"

"Rick said he would take me to the prom."

"I am happy to hear that Dove."

"Rick is not scared of Ripper."

We opened our gifts and blew out the candle to our cakes an hour later. We then had a water balloon fight. We all took showers two hours later and put on clean clothes before walking out to sit around the fire.

I sat staring in the fire thinking about how Ripper should be sitting her next to me, spending my birthday with me. I felt the tears fall down my face.

I stood up and walked over to sit on the swing. My name is Candy, I am Eagle's girlfriend. I saw the tears flow down Doves cheeks.

I looked up at Eagle. "Eagle I am going to go talk to Dove."

I stood up and walked over to the swing. I sat down and looked at Dove. "Dove, I am sorry that Ripper is not here."

"We all know what happened when you were 12."

"I also know that you keep denying that you still love him."

"I hate him, if he loved me he would not keep having sex with those whores and other girls."

I did not tell Dove that I was friends with one of the girls at school that was a member of Ripper's club.

"I knew she was right."

"Dove I also know that none of the boys at school will ask you to the prom. They are scared of Ripper."

"That's alright, Rick is going to take me. You know he is not scared of Ripper."

"We all know that Dove."'

"Ripper is not going to like that."

"I don't care if he likes it or not."

"Besides, Rick is single, he is very handsome, tall and big like my brothers and dad."

"Rick is handsome."

"Rick has always been there for me when I was hurting."

I sat with the boys watching Dove. I have always wanted her since she was 12 years old. I hated Ripper for what he did to her. I wish she saw me as a possible boyfriend.

I will do anything to make her happy. I was glad she asked me to take her to her prom. I am going to think of it as if she is my girlfriend. Just for the night.

Since the night she caught him making out with that girl I have always been the one she turned to. I think I will take her to see the waterfall.

I walked over and asked Dove if she would take a ride with me.

"Sure I will."

We walked out and I lifted her on the back of my bike. I sat down and she wrapped her arms around me. I started my bike and drove out of the compound. I drove to the woods and parked my bike.

I took her hand and walked into the woods. "Look, Dove"

"Rick it is beautiful."

We sat down and she sat with her back to me between my legs. I liked how she leaned back against my chest. "Dove, can I ask you something?"

"You can ask me anything, Rick."

"Do you think you will ever like someone else besides Ripper?"

I turned and looked at Rick. I sat down on his legs facing him.

"I don't know Rick."
