Rage, VP Of The Wild Rider MC

I had just found a really nice small one-bedroom apartment in the club called “The Friendly”. Elizabeth who I work with at the nursing home told me about the apartment and she said her husband, Steve who is the president of the Wild Rider MC is looking to rent it out.

I drove her to the club and she introduced me to Steve. I was honest with Steve about hiding from a man who physically abused me.

"I said I needed a small one-bedroom apartment. I don’t want to cause any problems and sometimes I just like to go to a bar and drink and dance."

I said. "I also smoke an occasional joint."

He laughed and said, "that would not be a problem here."

Steve said, "I could come down to the club if I wanted to and no one will bother me."

He said, "there is a door that is private that will go to my apartment."

"How much I asked?"

"How does $150.00 a month sound? The $150 a month includes water, electricity, and trash. You pay for a phone, and cable and the internet."

"It’s a deal I said shaking his hand."

" He said no contract. Month to Month only."

I gave him a $150 deposit and the first month’s rent. He got a key out of his desk and said I will show you the apartment. I followed him out of the office and out the front door. I noticed a handsome man sitting against the wall watching me as I walked by.

I followed Steve to a side door and up the stairs. It was a really nice apartment.

"You can move in now if you want he said handing me a key."

It was furnished. "Thank, you so much."

" It won’t scare you having bikers party under you?"

" No, I will feel safe having you all here."

He laughed and said, "good to hear."

I followed him back down the stairs and locked the door. I walked over to my car and got in driving to the hotel where I packed my bags and returned the room key. I then went to Wal-Mart and bought groceries.

Next, I went to Goodwill looking for a few more nursing uniforms and bought three pairs of jeans, a leather vest, and boots. I also bought a comforter, two blankets, and sheets. Then I drove to the apartment.'

When I arrived and parked where Steve told me to, I saw several bikers hanging around outside. As I got out and unlocked the apartment door and started to carry things up the stairs I heard.

" Do you need help?"

A prospect was standing there.

"If you don’t mind."

" My name is Tim," he said holding out his hand.

I shook his hand and said, "Jeannie."

with his help, it took two more trips to carry everything up the stairs. He helped me put things away and said.

"I will put a more secure lock on that door for you and give you the keys. I may even talk to Steve about putting a more secure door up."

" Thank you for helping me," I said.

"No problem. If you need anything let me know."

I heard a knock on the door and ran down the stairs I saw Elizabeth and Pam standing there.

"Come on in I said."

" Wow, this place looks great. How do you like it?"

" I really like it but I wonder if Steve would be able to put a door at the top of the steps. that way I would not have to run down the stairs to answer the door all the time."

" That is a great idea, I will ask him."

We sat and talked for a while and I was surprised that I did not hear music and noise from below.

"Ok, I know we don’t work Saturday and Sunday, and we are having a BBQ tomorrow night, why don’t you come?"

" I don’t know."

" Come on Jeannie, we need someone to talk to, and besides you need to get out."

" Ok, only if you two come and get me and walk me into the club."

" Deal they said before leaving."

I locked the door after they left and went upstairs.
