Sarika
“finally back” I whispered to myself feeling a wave of nostalgia. coming out of the airport for a moment I fell into a daze as I inhale the familiar air of Mumbai
The sudden honk of the taxi snapped me out of the trance “maam taxi?” asked the driver feeling tired
I just nodded my head while telling the destination ”lavender palace” and slide inside the back seat of the taxi as he helped me by putting the luggage in the trunk
along the ride, I just look outside the window gazing at the familiar yet unfamiliar roads of Mumbai. and I could see how busy rods, of course, it is 8 pm after all many office workers must be rushing back to their families and home. and there are malls, many other tall buildings some familiar some unfamiliar, I intake this all.
And here I reached my destination in front of the lavender palace a five-star hotel where I am going to stay while the driver helped me take out the luggage
I slide out of the car after paying and taking the luggage I enter the hotel and walked towards the receptionist who has a good looking face and wearing a staff uniform with the badge tucked on the right side of her uniform shirt which says the receptionist
“good evening maam how may I help u?″ she asked in a polite and pleasant tone with a polite yet sincere smile
“hi i am sarika i have reserved room by name sarika singhania”
“yes maam please allow me to cross-check it”
“sure” then after few seconds of going through her desktop she handed the keycard of my room to me and asked a staff member to help me with my luggage
After taking the key I take the lift to push the button for the 5th floor where is my room along with the staff member coming out of the lift strides towards my room or should I say suite
“501 here it is” I muttered to myself as I find my way towards my suite.
Opening the door I stride inside taking the luggage from him and saying a quick thank you after locking the door from inside I relaxed not in the mood for anything I just opened my small bag from which I take out my night wears and toiletries which I needed for tonight
“ ah how genius I am, now I should freshen up before I give up on that idea” after patting my back in praise I busied myself
After refreshing up liking the idea to have a walk I came downstairs
Across the road, I spotted kulfi shop and instantly my mouth watered I took a step forward and
