I was moving, leaving my entire life behind surely I’m going to meet some new friends and it will okay in the end, right?
I heard my mum call me in the morning at around 6:30 to get ready. I was not packed at all; I didn’t want to leave I knew that and my mum knew that.
The car ride was more silent than the streets at midnight. The tension killed me.
“Hey Dad?” I spoke finally.
“Whats up Sweetie,” He replied.
“Whats the city called again I forgot?” I asked trying to make conversation.
“Brighton, its where me and your mother grew up,” He said in a timid tone.
“Ah okay! Thanks,” I exclaimed sounding positive.
We finally arrived at a beautiful house with a big forest around the corner. It had the most prettiest shade of green painted on the door and garage and white walls that made it look modern.
“It’s amazing!” I told him.
I opened the door with a spare key i was given and walked up the wooden stairs that creeked with every movement and went inside my room.
It was empty with only a long mirror tilted against the wall I stared at my self for a while.
I moved my silky dark brown hair out of my face to reveal my icey blue eyes that complemented my pale skin. I was wearing a green plaid dress with a black cardigan; It was my favourite outfit.
