Meanwhile, in the Werewolf World...

Remus was in his room, and darkness befell his surroundings. Remus laid on the bed, deep in thought. He wasn't able to have his mate.

He felt betrayed by the moon goddess. Remus thought that the goddess took the opportunity to have a mate by his side, someone he could hold, someone that could give him a family that he always wanted. His heart clenched painfully.

The young werewolf was alone.

Remus believed that he was never going to have a mate.

"Why?" he asked himself.

Remus got off the bed and opened the window of his room. His eyes stared at the moon almost in a hateful manner. "Why moon goddess!? Why have you forsaken me!?" He punched the wall so hard that it made a hole in the wall.

It was still silent; Remus heard only the crickets.

Then, his thoughts went back to Leah. To him, she was the most beautiful woman that he had ever laid eyes on. Remus was envious of his cousin. When he saw her during the festivities, he was shocked that she spoke against a patriarchal society. Remus knew that his cousin did have a temper and hoped that Romulus did not hurt her.

On the other hand, Remus firmly believed that Romulus did not deserve such a woman as Leah. He stood still, and the man was surprised at himself. He thought about his cousin's mate and his desire for her.

A werewolf in his age has the feeling of desperation of wanting a mate that he would do anything to have one by his side, even if he would have to fight to the death.

Tomorrow morning, Remus would visit her. He wanted to see more of her. He didn't care if he was going to anger his cousin.

Remus went back to bed with excitement in his being.
