My Grams always said, "If you can hold a flashlight for a biker, you can handle anything."

My dad liked to ride and work on his bikes, but I wouldn't consider him a biker. His life had become too posh for that but still, I held that flashlight, heard the string of cusswords and was told to readjust my hold about thirteen times in twenty minutes. I even lied for him when he got caught smoking. That counted for something right?

I had a lot to do today and I needed to get it done, but when I woke up to the sounds of a lawn mower, I remembered last night and jumped up and ran down the steps.

"Chloe!" Ali gaped at me from my kitchen, but I held up a finger, not pausing as I ran past her out onto my porch.

What the hell was he doing?! I ran down to stop him as I shouted.

"Hey-hey-hey!" I yelled, standing in front of the mower and threw my hands out, "Stop!"

"What the fuck, princess!" Church stopped the mower and ran to stand in front of me, "Get back in the fucking house!"

"What are you doing?!" I shouted at him as he pulled the earbuds out of his ears.

"What are you doing?! Go back in the fucking house!" He threw his arm out toward the house as he shouted at me, then held his vest open. He was shirtless, per the deal we'd made and the guy was muscular.

"No!" I layed into him, "If you think that I'm going to allow you to do your end of the bet while half the club is still asleep you're mistaken! You can't play dirty Church! You won't win!"

"If you ask me, he already is." Someone mumbled behind me.

Church grinned over my head and spoke under his breath, "Chloe, Go back in the house and put some fucking clothes on."

I froze.

"I'm not wearing any clothes, am I?" I whispered.

"Well..." He tipped his head from one side to the other lightly, peeking down at me before abruptly diverting his gaze.

Someone whistled from behind me and I stiffened.

"Nice ink, Princess!" One of the guys hooted while more catcalled.

"What's it say?" Another voice asked and someone told him to put his glasses on.

I squeezed my eyes shut. It wasn't in a dirty spot. It was down my spine, but they were only seeing it because I was naked.

"How many are behind me?" I took a deep breath.

"Four full fledged brothers." He smiled tightly as he nodded, "Weeding and cleaning out the gutters. I thought, it'd help you."

"Thank you." I whispered.

"You can thank me by getting your ass in the house." His eyes raked me before he looked up again and cleared his throat.

"Well, at least I have underwear on." I nodded as the cat calls continued.

"It's a thong isn't it?" He closed his eyes and took a deep sigh.

I sucked in some air and left my answer out in a sigh, "Yeah."

"You gonna head back inside?" He cleared his throat again, still not looking at me.

"Yeah." I spoke under my breath and turned.

Biting my lower lip, I held my head high and began walking back into the house.

My Grams also said, "Be proud of the figure God gave you. A woman's body is a gift."

If I rushed, covered myself or bowed my head in the slightest, it would say that I wasn't proud, or that I was insecure, so I walked slowly. I even gave a little sway to my hips as I took my walk of shame.

Everyone went silent and I mentally cringed. Oh, God...

"Least it's not a tramp stamp." Church chuckled loudly and the men joined in.

"It's the same one my Grams had." Sky above me, Earth below me, Fire within me.

I didn't stop walking as I turned my head to look at him. He was blatantly staring at my ass, but I couldn't read his expression.

God, I was at the stairs now. I prayed that I didn't trip. Instead, I used my tiptoes to climb them and made my way into the house.

Where Ali stood in the kitchen and whistled low.

"You owned that shit." She laughed, "You normally sleep with just a thong on?"

"No." I hissed, "I was too drunk to take it off! Be thankful I was wearing this!"

I stomped my way upstairs to put some clothes on.

"Chick's got some nice tits." Chains gaped.

"Shit, Church," Sparks chuckled, "She's got your number."

She may have come out naked by accident, but she owned that shit. She had a right to. She had a fucking kickin' body. Thin, curvy, but soft.

"Her lawn was already mowed," Smokey sighed, "So, what the fuck you doin' out here?"

"Forget the mower," Axel chuckled, "I'd take the plow truck to that one."

"Nobody touches her." I glared at all of them, "Spread the word and get back to work, boys."

Sparks whistled low, but I ignored his ass as I started the mower back up.

I dressed in jeans and a tank top and made my way back downstairs, where I found Ali in my kitchen, putting food in my fridge?

"What-?" I gaped at her, "Where-?"

"Church sent me to the store for you." She explained as she loaded my fridge.

"I don't know why, I can just order food." I scoffed as she put some green leafy stuff in there, "It's all going to go to waste, I can't cook. Never could."

She laughed, "It's easy, I'll show you."

"That's what your father said last night." I scrunched my face.

"Don't even get me started on that so called dancing." She rolled her eyes.

"What are you in the mood for this morning?" She asked, "I'll make you something."

"Uhm, I'm normally not up this early." I shrugged, "My clientele keeps late hours."

"I thought you were a dental assistant, how late are you working?" Shit! That's what I'd told Sparky. I honestly wasn't surprised that the word had spread that fast.

"I am." I gave a nod, "We work on a lot of rich people and they want dental work at night sometimes."

"What do you normally have when you wake up then?"

"Coffee, lots of coffee."

"With the amount of Bourbon you drank last night I don't doubt it." She scoffed.

"There's a new coffee pot there." She pointed at a coffee pot with a huge glass under it. I went over to examine it.

"Okay, Chloe," I whispered to myself, "You've seen this done before."

"You really are clueless in a kitchen, aren't you?" She laughed.

"I have one of those pod ones." I glared at the machine.

"Well, you will need to make more at a time than one cup," She grinned, "Because Sparks, Bear and everyone will be in and out to help you fix this place up and they drink shitloads of it."

"Why are they going to help me?" My brow furrowed.

"Because," She lowered her voice to a whisper, "My dad hasn't noticed a woman since my Mom died and he's definitely noticed you."

"Yes!" She laughed again, "I don't know if it was the attitude or nudity just now, but something worked. While you were upstairs he told the guys no one was allowed to touch you. That means he's claimed you and he's got his eye on you."

"How do you know this?"

"Smokey came in whining about it." She snorted and eventually talked me through the coffee maker.

I found that it was super simple. I poured myself a large cup and sat at the table with a grin.

"I feel like those men outside think I'm some rich girl that can't run a lawnmower now." I cringed.

"No," She laughed, "They think you shouldn't have to. There's a difference. They respect women. They love our strengths, but still want to do their manly part."

I was mid chug when Church came in through the front door.

"Good to see you put some clothes on." He smiled, but didn't look at me as he went into my fridge and pulled out a bottle of water.

"Water?" I gaped at the bottle in his hand, "You even put water in there?!"

"Couldn't get a good fridge with a tap delivered on short notice, even with my strings." He grinned, taking a swig.

"I'm telling you now, I'm not touching any of that food." I looked between him and the fridge.

"You can't eat that shit food every night, Princess." He rolled his eyes.

"I know, I wasn't a fan of the Italian place. I found a Chinese restaurant to try tonight though." I shrugged and flipped my phone to Google, where the place I was thinking of popped right up, "Mr Chan's."

"Hold on!" Ali grinned going through my cupboards, "I bought you rice, beef and broccoli too! We can make a sauce and have an amazing beef and broccoli for dinner."

"I told you," I groaned, "I can't cook! I don't do the whole kitchen thing!"

"I will teach you." The grin never left her face, but her tone told me to stop arguing.

"That sounds good, Ali-Cat." Church grinned at her, "Maybe Sparks an' I'll come over and have a bite if Chloe don't mind."

I groaned, "I don't, but Mr. Chan's will be quicker and it won't get burned."

"I won't let you burn it." Ali rolled her eyes.

"That shit you eat at restaurants ain't healthy for anyone," He gave me a once over, "The meat is fatty, the vegetables are not fresh and the sauces are oily. It clogs your arteries and you'll die of a heart attack, skinny ass or not."

"Hence the fruits and veggies." Ali held up some green leaves like an over perky Vana White, "To unclog years of artery clogging."

"Ali pointed out to me that you can make the same foods with less oils and salt." Church turned to grin at Ali, "If anyone can teach you, my baby can."

With that, he walked out.
