When I woke up and my princess wasn't curled around me. I sat up to find her seated in a chair, mulling over photos of Noah's tour crew at the time.

"Princess, you've gotta sleep." I moaned, "You'll make yourself sick."

"I did sleep." She gave a nod, "I have to adjust a few things on these pictures and I'll be done in a moment."

"I just-" She sighed and slammed the photos on her lap, "I have to have him in here somewhere. I saw it on her face, she definitely thought it was Noah."

"Why'd he keep so many look-a-likes?" I asked her, looking at the pictures

"Easy exits." She shrugged, "Let's him get out without getting hassled by the press."

"What the fuck do you mean?!" He slammed his hand down on the counter.

"Exactly what she said, please don't shout at my girl," Church watched him cautiously, but spoke very cool and calm, "You know it makes me uneasy."

"You mean one of these fuckers fucked that kid and said he was me?!" He gaped at the three headshots, two of which I had altered to give them black hair.

"How many others has he done it to?!" He asked tightly, glancing at Church and trying to keep his shit together, "How many others are gonna come after me because of this fucker, Chloe?!"

"I don't know, but if we find out for sure and report him, he can't do it anymore." I nodded.

"Fuck!" He shouted, stepping away to pace and run his hands through his hair.

"Arlee was the one that cleared you." I smiled up at him and he paused.

"My Angel?" Hus brow furrowed, "How-so?"

"She said that you had your stubble razored for her." My smile turned to a grin.

"When I was nineteen." He scoffed and gave Church a lazy grin, "She didn't like the stubble burn, unlike you."

"My beard is smooth, man," Church grinned at him, wagging his eyebrows, "I take care of my shit and it gets a natural conditioner daily."

"Okay," I glared at my man, "Enough."

We needed a change of subject, "Moving on, I'm meeting with her this afternoon. I will show her all the photos and have her pinpoint her baby daddy."

"She's the lead of my fanclub, what if she chooses my pic?" Noah asked.

"You are going to volunteer to take the DNA test anyway. No one even has to know, but us." Chloe shrugged, "The important people know it isn't you, that's all that matters and we need to fully clear you."

"Why can't I put all of that stupid shit behind me, Chloe?" He looked at me as he ran his hands through his hair again.

"Why did you do it in the first place, Noah?" I asked coldly.

"You know already." He sighed, "She's perfect. Everything she does, everything. She's so fucking perfect."

"Don't you think it evens you out though?" I asked, "She's the Angel and you're the devil. Can't have one without the other?"

"I left her. Twice." He did too. The second time was pretty harsh and very public.

"And she chose to take you back a third time, knowing that the legal agreement was complete bullshit. She even signed it Elle Woods." I glared at him, "Did you even notice?"

"No." He fell forward onto the island and covered his face in his hands, "I was too stuck on wanting to get her back."

"You just have to show her the man you want to be." Church spoke up as his phone started to ring.

He checked it and sighed.

"It's Smokey, he sent a bunch of club business shit. I gotta get this." He gave me a kiss and headed into the front room.

"You're serious with that guy." Noah watched after him.

"Yes." I smiled.

"Nate said you're knocked up." His eyes moved to my stomach and back to my face.

"Nate would be correct." I gave Noah a nod, "It's very new, only a month in, but yes."

"He's hurting, Chloe." I knew he meant Nate.

"Why, because Gina won't sleep with his ass anymore?" I scoffed.

"It's the other way around." Noah looked behind him where Church had gone, then leaned forward and whispered, "He misses you."

"And what does that have to do with anything?" I asked.

"You've known this guy for four months and you're pregnant?" He gaped at me, "Something isn't adding up Chloe. You guarded your virginity like a saint."

Nate had been close, many times, but the truth was, it just didn't feel right. Church felt right. He truly did.

"Do you have anything else to say?" I bit out.

"Yeah, I gonna go after this guy, when we find him. I'm gonna sue his ass for pretending he was me and I don't want to work with Aunt Liv." Noah's blue eyes met mine, "I want to work with you."

"You mean you want me at your beck and call." I scoffed.

"No," He sighed with exhaustion, "You've been my friend since we were babies, you know me better than Aunt Liv does, and I love her, you know I do, but the way she was talking to me was like she thought it was me and there was no other explanation."

"Can you blame her?"

"No, but you know me Chloe, you knew that the stories didn't add up."

"Only because you're a clean freak, who's into kink." I rolled my eyes.

"See! And I can't tell Aunt Liv that shit!" He hissed.

"Something's going down with the old man." Smokey was talking quick.

"Whatchya mean?" I sighed, scratching my forehead, "What old man?"

"Check the deposit slip I sent you from the Hustle account. It's from Theodore Arlington."

"That's Sparks."

"No shit Sherlock." He scoffed.

I pulled my phone from my ear and checked the text.

"Where the fuck did he get that kinda money?" I scoffed.

"I don't know, but it was signed and awarded to us by our dearest treasurer Olivia Osbourne."

"I'll talk to Livvie. She's gotta know what's going on," I sighed, "Don't touch any of it, till I know what's goin' on."

"Will do, boss."

"Noah, I want to live in Colorado." I told him, "My home is there now, with Church."

"Is there any way you could do most of the work remotely?" Noah asked me.

"I suppose I could, but I would have to talk to Church about it first."

"What is it with this guy, Chloe?" His brow furrowed.

"It's hard to explain." I shook my head, "I moved into Grams' old house to try to be closer to her and I found this whole other life that I love. It's country living, but I find I really like the peace and the friendships I've made. These people... They're genuine."

"And him?" He asked, "Where does Church come into all of this?"

"She beat me with a shovel." Church came in, chuckling, "Made me submit."

"You what?!" Noah's eyes darted from Church back to me as huffed a laugh.

"That was an accident!" I gaped at Church as he gave me a kiss.

"True, I suppose it started when she mouthed off to me the first time we met," He chuckled, pulling me into a hug, "My and my daughter's bikes were parked in her driveway and she gave me 48 hours to find a new spot, then insulted me, and what else babe?" He squinted at me and smiled.

"I made a bet with him over a Korn song and he lost," I grinned at Noah, "He had to mow my lawn shirtless."

"But I got an equal surprise when I woke her her ass up with the mower the next morning." He chuckled.

"It was bad." I scrunched my face, "I flashed a few of his guys."

"Nope," Church shook his head "Her ass was fully naked."

"Okay, the nudity I get," Noah chuckled, "Chloe could live in nudest colony. She beat you with a shovel though, man?"

"I did not!" My voice came out whiny as my cousin laughed, "He scared me and I was digging a hole!"

"To bury him in?" Noah huffed a laugh.

"For my carport!" I rolled my eyes as Noah chuckled.

"She was dancin' around on her tiptoes an shit." Church laughed and began mimicking my movements, "She was like, "Oh my god! Are you hearing ringing sounds? Do I need to call 911?!""

"I was not that bad!" I laughed.
