Nicki has always been a bit of a loner, a rarity for a wolf shifter. The only people she ever got along with were her brother and dad. A chance meeting causes her to fall in love, with not one alpha, but two. Can this alpha duo show her that they are all meant to be or will her conservative mom tear them apart forever?

Chapter 1

My brother and I had always known that we were not normal by any means. We had always known what we were, our parents never tried to hide it from us, but we weren’t raised around others of our kind.

We were shifters, wolves to be exact. Not werewolves, we could take the form of wolves anytime we felt the need. The wolf was a part of us and we had to keep control of it as much as we kept control of ourselves.

Most wolves stayed in packs, or in small groups, but our parents never had us around any others of our kind. We were not sure why though and they never spoke of it.

My brother and I both preferred to keep our wolves caged, though. In fact, we had never actually let our wolves out before. That was because our parents never really let their wolves out either.

Our mom was Anastasia Locke and our dad was Lucian Poe, Edgar Allan Poe’s descendent or something, so he named my brother Drake and he named me Rayvin to keep up with the creep factor. Our middle names were Nicholas and Nichole so that my mom could give us something normal.

Our parents divorced when we were six. That was around the time that their honeymoon phase was over and they realized that they weren’t in love and together they decide to move on. Drake and I just kind of went with it.

We didn’t think that Mom and Dad were really in love anyway. Mom always said that love didn’t exist. She reminded me of those words every chance she got.

They would alternate taking us and would never separate us. Mom would have us one year while we visited Dad every other weekend and every other holiday and Dad would take us the next year with visits to Mom.

It didn’t really bother us, we never really made friends at school anyway. Drake and I always just stuck with each other.

Drake and I were almost identical aside from the fact that he was a boy and I was a girl. We both had auburn hair with natural blonde highlights and azure eyes. He was six foot with a lean muscular build like our dad and I was five foot six with a voluptuous hourglass figure like our mom.

Dad had blond hair and azure eyes while Mom had auburn hair and emerald eyes.

My brother and I didn’t fight like normal siblings and we didn’t need words to communicate with each other, and that had nothing to do with the fact that we were both telepathic. We didn’t need to read each other’s minds to know what the other was thinking.

We were both empaths and telekinetic as well but that also had nothing to do with it. My brother and I shared a bond that ordinary siblings didn’t have, whether that was because we were twins or because of what we were or both we didn’t know.

When we were sixteen our parents both agreed to let us get piercings and tattoos. I got a silver stud helix in my right ear, a silver tongue ring, a tribal Rose tramp stamp, and a reddish brown dragon with azure eyes wrapped around my right thigh. Drake got a silver hoop earring and a silver stud helix both in his left ear and a Raven tattoo on the back of his right shoulder.

Drake had always been fiercely overprotective of me. He claimed that it was because he was older than me. I always reminded him that two minutes didn’t make a difference.

We were the same though. We had the same abilities and our attitudes were almost the same. I say almost because he was outgoing and I was not. Drake loved attention and I hated it. Dad and I were slow to anger and we didn’t forgive easily. Mom and Drake were quick to anger and forgave just as quickly.

I was a book worm for a reason: people didn’t appeal to me. I took after our dad in that respect. Mom was the socialite, Dad not so much. Mom was a party girl and Dad, Dad preferred to stay home and study.

Mom was always the type of person to believe that how the world perceived you was the way you needed to act. That our wolves shouldn’t be let out because the world would see us as animals. She always cared about what other people thought of her and not how she thought of herself. She was always the pretty girl and never cooked or cleaned.

Dad on the other hand didn’t really care how the world saw him. He believed in doing what made him happy and if the world didn’t like it, then tough. He learned how to cook and clean from a young age and always did what he enjoyed. He only kept his wolf caged to please Mom.

How they ended up together was beyond me, but love works in mysterious ways.

Drake and I had both just graduated high school with honors as co-valedictorians. We were eighteen and glad to finally be free from its horrors.

Even though Drake loved being the center of attention neither of us really enjoyed high school. It was all about what group you belonged to or who your friends were. No one really cared about who you were as a person.

We didn’t really make any plans for after high school because we knew that we had plenty of time to figure it out since shifters were immortal.

Neither of us were really sure about what we actually wanted to do with our lives.

Dad bought us a house together and we were setting it up when the doorbell rang.

“I got it, Nicki,” Drake called as I stepped out of my room.

Drake and I were both wearing a pair of black bondage pants with silver chains and black tank tops with black combat boots. My hair was just past my shoulders and Drake’s hair was cut short.

Mom and Dad were standing there when Drake opened the door. Dad was holding a bottle of wine while Mom was holding a box of Chinese food.

Dad was wearing a pair of black slacks with a black shirt and black boots while Mom was wearing a pair of khakis with a pink blouse and white flip flops.

I laughed and walked over to them while Drake closed the door. I gave both Mom and Dad a hug and a kiss while Drake took the food and wine from them.

Drake hugged both of our parents and kissed Mom on the cheek then motioned to our black leather couches.

Everything in our house was black, just the way we liked it: black walls, black floors, black furniture. It fit our personalities.

“This is lovely,” Mom said awkwardly and I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing.

Mom never really liked our style. She preferred upbeat and peppy while Dad enjoyed the darker things. We both got that from him. In fact most of our personality came from Dad instead of Mom.

“It is fitting for us.” Drake shrugged.

“I know, dear, it is nice.” Mom was trying not to cringe and I shook my head.

“Thank you, Mom.” She smiled at me.

“I like it, Nicknack,” Dad said while looking around and I smiled at him.

“I am glad.”

We all walked into the dining room and sat down at the table together. We ate together while talking and joking around.

“How do you two like living on your own?” Dad asked.

“It’s great, no rules, no curfews, and we can do whatever we want,” Drake said and we all laughed.

“Right, like you two have ever done anything wrong.” Dad was amused and we laughed again.

Dad was right, we were as good as a person could be. We always followed the rules and never did anything wrong or bad. It just wasn’t in us.

“You never know.” I shrugged and we all laughed again.

“I could never have children that I was more proud of than you two,” Dad said and I blushed.

“Thank you, Dad,” Drake and I said together.

“I agree, I’m proud of you two.” Mom’s voice was less convincing, but I was sure she was sincere.

“Thank you, Mom,” Drake and I replied.

“Even with us moving you two around each year you both graduated with honors as co-valedictorians. I’m really glad that my studying habits were passed on to the two of you,” Dad stated and we laughed.

Better that than Mom’s party habits. Drake thought to me and I snorted, then covered my mouth.

“Rayvin, that’s very unladylike,” Mom reprimanded, like usual.

“Sorry, Mom, it just kind of slipped out.” I was biting my lip.

I started playing with my tongue ring and Mom narrowed her eyes at me.

It was a habit I had ever since I got the tongue ring, that and biting my lip.

“Rayvin, stop that. It is such a nasty habit,” Mom snapped and I sighed.

“I’m sorry,” I muttered.

“So, have you two thought about where you are going to college at?” Dad asked to change the subject.

Drake and I looked at each other. We didn’t really want to bring it up because we knew it would really start an argument.

“We are not going to college.” I was playing with my tongue ring nervously.

“What do you mean? Are you going to wait a few years and then go?” Mom asked.

“No, we are not going to college at all.” Drake’s tone was nervous, but firm.

“You can’t just not go to college. You have to get a good education,” Dad demanded and I sighed.

“We just don’t see the point.”

“What do you mean you don’t see the point?” Mom asked. “You have to go to college.”

“Why?” Drake asked.

“So that you can get a good job,” Dad stated.

Drake and I sighed.

“We aren’t going to college. That’s all there is to it.”

“Oh, you’re going to college, Young Lady,” Dad snapped.

He had never spoken to me like that before and it surprised me and scared me a little, but it also made me angry.

My wolf stirred.

“I’m not going,” I growled.

“Nicki! Don’t talk to your dad like that,” Mom snapped.

“This discussion is over,” I stated and Drake put a hand on my shoulder.

“It isn’t over. You two are going to college whether you want to or not,” Dad snapped.

I stood up and walked out of the house, slamming the door behind me.

If I stayed I knew I would do, or say, something that I would regret.

I ran.

I kept my wolf at bay as I ran through the woods. I would never let her out no matter how angry I was. I wouldn’t be able to control her if I did and I knew that I would regret the actions that she did without my control.

I ran until I couldn’t run anymore and I took a deep breath while leaning against a tree.

I was so out of it trying to contain my wolf and being so consumed by anger at the same time that I didn’t realize that I was being followed.

I pulled my cell phone from my pocket when I smelled the vampire near me. I started to text my brother, but felt the vampire come closer to me.

I took a deep breath then continued running through the woods and was tackled to the ground, effectively crushing my cell phone.

The vampire jumped on me and bit my shoulder, causing me to howl in pain. I threw the vampire off of me and it jumped on me again. I just couldn’t seem to get the upper hand. It was just two strong.

Two wolves descended on the vampire out of nowhere. One wolf was black and the other was ash brown. They were both very large, much larger than I was when I let my wolf out.

The vampire attacked the wolves and bit the ash brown one in the balls. It howled in anger and bit the vampire hard.

The vampire hissed in pain and shoved the ash wolf off of it. The black wolf pounced on the vampire, taking it off guard, and bit it in the neck.

The wolves were working together, one going high while the other was going low, to confuse the vampire and to catch it off guard. The vampire slammed the ash wolf into a tree and the wolves howled together.

The black wolf pounced on the vampire again and ripped out the vampire’s throat.

Together the two wolves ripped the vampire apart before my very eyes, then circled around me. They both sniffed me and I took a step back, only to back into a tree. They both howled then turned into humans.

The one that was the black wolf had tan skin, ebony hair and teal eyes. He stood at 6’2, and had a ripped muscular build. There were two silver hoops in his left ear, a silver stud tongue ring, and a silver spider bite piercing on the right side of his lip. There was a red and black tattoo of something wrapped around his right bicep, but I couldn’t tell what it was.

The ash brown wolf had a lighter skin tone, but was still tan, with ash brown hair, and ice blue eyes. He stood at 6’1 and was body builder muscular. He had two silver hoops in his left ear along with a silver hoop helix piercing and there was a single silver ring piercing on the right side of his bottom lip. He had a tattoo on his right forearm of a black tribal wolf that I noticed when he reached his hand out to me.

I hesitantly took it and he pulled me to my feet.

“I am Victor and this is Sebastian,” the man that pulled me up said.

“Rayvin Nichole Poe.” I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

I didn’t know why I gave him my full name, I just did.

“You have a beautiful name, Nicknack,” Victor said and I gaped at him.

“Nicki or Rayvin.” He smirked at me.

“We best get you somewhere safe and cleaned up,” Sebastian said and nodded at Victor, who threw me over his shoulder.

“Hey! Put me down!” Victor ignored me while carrying me.

“I don’t think so, Kitten, I’m faster than you are and the quicker we are out of the open the quicker you are safe.” I growled at Victor’s words.

Sebastian took off running and Victor followed with me over his shoulder.

I tried to fight against Victor, but there was no way that I could get him to put me down. He was just way too strong. I finally gave up and sighed.

A little while later we walked into a huge house and Victor finally set me down while Sebastian locked the door.

“I’m going to go take a shower to wash off the blood. Nicki, make yourself at home,” Sebastian said then eyed Victor, who nodded.

Sebastian nodded back, then walked up the stairs. I sighed and flinched.

“How’s your arm?” Victor asked gently.

“Fine.”

It was a lie.

My arm burned like a motherfucker and I knew that Victor could hear my thoughts, most wolves were telepathic. I didn’t know why I lied about it.

Victor arched an eyebrow at me and I turned my head while playing with my tongue ring.

“How’s your… uh… you know?” Victor snorted in amusement.

“Just fine, would you like to see to make sure?” Victor teased and my face flushed in embarrassment.

“No, I’m good.” I was holding up my hands defensively.

Victor chuckled and I shook my head at him. He made me nervous and I wasn’t really sure why. I took a step away from him and played with my tongue ring again.

Nicki! I heard in my head and looked up.

Drake?

Yeah, I tried to call you. Drake replied.

My cell phone broke.

Are you okay? I smiled at Drake’s worry.

Yes, I got attacked by a vampire and two alphas saved me.

Two alphas? Males?

Yes. I replied.

Great, have fun explaining that to Mom and Dad. Speaking of which you need to call them. They are worried sick about you.

Can you do it? I’m not sure that I have a way to speak to them until I come home.

I would have to explain how I know that you are okay and they aren’t going to like it. I sighed.

I know, but we should have told them a long time ago.

Fine, you’re right. I love you. Please stay safe. I giggled at Drake’s words.

I love you too and I promise that I’ll try.

Fine. I knew that he was rolling his eyes at me. Are you still mad at them?

Are you? I asked in return and felt his sigh.

I am. I don’t want to go to college and I don’t feel like they should make us.

I agree.

I know. Look we will deal with it when you come home. I will let them know that you are okay.

Thank you, Drake.

We ended our conversation and I looked up to see Victor arching his eyebrow at me.

“You were talking to someone that is nowhere near us. How?” Victor asked and I bit my lip.

“My brother and I are twins. We have a connection that no one else has. We can talk to each other no matter how far away we are from one another.” I knew it was best to be honest with both Victor and Sebastian about it.

“Okay, how did you know that we were alphas?”

“Are you kidding?” I asked in return.

Victor narrowed his eyes at me and I gulped while trying not to squirm. His looked was turning me on, but I didn’t want him to know that. I didn’t even know how his look was doing what it was to my body.

“Oh, you are not kidding. Um… you both hold yourselves as alphas so I just figured that you both were. Was I wrong?” I started playing with my tongue ring again.

“No, you were right. We are both alphas and we are partners.” I blushed at Victor’s words.

“Oh, you’re gay?” He snorted at my question.

“No, we aren’t gay. We are co-alphas. When we have a mate she will be both of ours.” My body clinched at his words.

Oh, how? Stop that. I snapped at myself and Victor smirked at me.

“It is fine, Kitten. You can’t hide your thoughts from me. I know that you want us.” I shook my head.

“In your dreams.” Victor’s smirk widened.

“Oh you will be with us, both of us. Because your body craves ours. You are drawn to us and we are drawn to you. We will have you.” Victor’s tone was cool.

“Look here, Bub,” I said while poking Victor in the chest. “You being an alpha doesn’t give you automatic claim of me. I decide who I am with and who I am not with. It isn’t your decision, it is mine and my body belongs to me.”

His laughter rumbled deep within his chest to the point that I could feel it through my finger. I removed my hand and he chuckled harder.

“You are adorable when you get angry, Kitten.” Victor was amused and I threw up my hands in anger with a huff.

“I’m a wolf not a kitten,” I growled and he chuckled.

“Whatever you say, Kitten.”

“My name is Rayvin, not Kitten, not Nicknack, and not any other nickname got it?”

He was pissing me off more the longer I talked to him. Why did wolves have to be so damn frustrating?

“So I can’t call you Nicki?” Victor asked with the same amusement and I growled at him.

I wasn’t one for letting my wolf out but damn if she wasn’t clawing the surface at that moment. She was begging me to let her take him on, I just couldn’t.

“You are so infuriating,” I growled and he chuckled again.

“Vick, leave her alone. That’s enough teasing,” Sebastian said behind me and I looked up.

I wish that I hadn’t because my whole face flushed as I cast my eyes to the floor. Sebastian was wearing nothing but a towel. I did notice that he had a tattoo of a red and black dragon with silver eyes on the back of his right shoulder with the tail wrapping around his bicep, and that was as much as I wanted to see.

I realized that the tail of the dragon was what I saw earlier on his arm.

“Awe come on, Bash, I’m just having some fun with our little bird.” I growled at Victor’s words.

Even as embarrassed as I was about seeing Sebastian practically naked Victor was still pissing me off.

“Rayvin,” I corrected in a growl and Victor laughed harder.

“You can’t act all angry when you’re blushing like that, Kitten.” I raised my head to glare at Victor.

Big mistake, Sebastian was drying off with the only thing covering him and I fully saw everything. I covered my face with my hands and turned around in embarrassment. His cock was fucking huge and it scared me and turned me on at the same time.

“Oh, I get it now,” Victor’s voice was soft, all signs of teasing gone. “You’re a virgin.”

I looked up to notice Sebastian staring at me surprised and Victor staring at me with sympathy. I looked away and Victor gently placed his hand on my arm.

“Nicki, there is a nothing to be ashamed of,” Victor said gently and I looked up at him.

I looked between both of them and bit my lip.

Sebastian wasn’t completely dry and I imagined my tongue darting across his ripped chest to lick up the water dripping down his body.

Sebastian growled in pleasure and my mouth slowly opened as a moan escaped. I took a step back in surprise at myself. I didn’t know what had gotten into me and it scared me.

Sebastian took a step towards me and I took another step back.

What was wrong with me? Why was I thinking these things?

I shook my head and looked between Sebastian and Victor. I was grateful that they saved my life, but was that all it was? I had never wanted anything to do with anyone ever before, so why did I feel this way about not just one man, but two?

“I know that you are a virgin, but if you do that again I won’t be able to restrain myself,” Sebastian said coolly.

Please don’t. I thought. Shit, stop that!

Sebastian and Victor both smirked at me and I blushed. I was at war with my wolf and they both knew it.

“Why do you keep her so restrained?” Victor asked and I sighed.

“My brother and I both do. We weren’t raised around other wolves and I wouldn’t know how to let her out,” I answered honestly.

“You should try. It isn’t healthy to keep her locked up for so long because once you finally let her out you might not be able to control her,” Sebastian said softly and I sighed.

He was right, they both were, but what could I do about it?

“It’s already to that point. If I let her out I wouldn’t be able to control her at all.” They both nodded in understanding.

“We could teach you,” Victor said and I bit my lip.

I bet you could teach me a lot of things. My wolf growled and I shook myself. Will you shut up?

They both chuckled and I bit my lip harder.

I absentmindedly wondered what it would feel like to be kissed by both of them. I hadn’t been kissed before and especially not with someone with lip piercings.

I shook my head and they both smirked at me. I flushed and bit my lip harder.

“I’m going to go take a shower.” I looked at Victor when he spoke.

“I’ll keep her company, go ahead,” Sebastian said and Victor nodded.

“Can you put some pants on first?” I was embarrassed.

Or don’t and see how strong my will is around you. I thought while turning my head to the side.

I realized that I was staring at Sebastian and I shook my head again.

Down girl. I snapped at myself.

“I think I’d rather like to see your reaction,” Sebastian was teasing me. “But if you really want me to put on pants I will.”

“Yes, please.”

No, don’t. my wolf begged.

“You could always join me in the shower if you don’t want to be left alone with Bash here.” I flushed at Victor’s words.

I bet he also looks good naked. I took another step back.

My wolf was restless.

“I’m good.”

“It’s not nice to lie, Kitten.” Victor was teasing me, but walked up the stairs anyway.

Sebastian walked over to me and I looked down.

“How’s your arm?” I looked up at Sebastian with his words.

Part of me really wished that he would cover up, but the other part of me loved staring at his huge cock.

“To be expected.”

Sebastian laughed and I blushed more.

“Take off your shirt so I can look at it,” Sebastian commanded and I hesitated.

I pulled my shirt over my head and was left with just my black lace bra covering my breasts.

“Cute,” Sebastian commented and I looked away from him.

He examined my arm and nodded.

“It needs to be cleaned.” I nodded. “You should also take a shower.”

“I don’t have a change of clothes.”

“I’m fine with that,” Sebastian said and I wasn’t sure if he was teasing me or not.

“I’ll bet.” He smirked at me.

“You could always join Victor in his or I could take you in mine.”

The double meaning wasn’t lost to me.

Take me. No, what am I thinking? I just met these two… I don’t care, take me.

Sebastian stepped closer to me and I took a step back.

“Relax, Nicki, I won’t hurt you and I won’t do anything you don’t want me to.” I sighed at Sebastian’s words.

“But that is the problem. I do want you to. I want you to touch me, I want you to kiss me, I want you to fuck me. Both of you and it scares me. I have never liked anyone and it is more than that with the two of you. Not only do I like both of you I want both of you to have all of me and that scares the shit out of me. Please put on some pants so I will stop staring at… at you…” I begged and Sebastian nodded.

“Don’t go anywhere.” I knew it was a command, but I nodded anyway.

He walked up the stairs and I sighed in relief. Both Sebastian and Victor walked downstairs a few minutes later and I hadn’t moved from the spot I was in when Sebastian walked away.

They were both in black jogging pants and neither was wearing a shirt. I realized that I hadn’t put my shirt back on and I blushed.

I tried to slip it back on but I couldn’t really move my arm.

“Are you okay?” Victor’s voice was filled with worry and I sighed.

“I don’t know I have never been bitten before.” They both nodded in understanding.

“Go take a shower and we will get you fixed up when you come out,” Victor commanded and I sighed.

“Like I told Sebastian I don’t have a change of clothes.”

“We will find something for you to slip on,” Sebastian promised.

More like slip into me… Oh my god what is wrong with me? I have got to stop thinking like that. I thought, reprimanding myself.

“Oh we already have something we could slip into you,” Victor teased and I squirmed with need.

Please, both of you… oh, no, don’t. I have got to stop that. Bad virgin. I snapped at myself.

They both chuckled and I blushed again.

“I’m sorry, I have no idea what is wrong with me.” I was embarrassed.

“We do,” Sebastian replied. “But we won’t touch you.”

“Awe, why not?” I realized that I asked that out loud and blushed more. “Oops.”

“Because you are going to be completely committed to us before we take your virginity,” Sebastian stated.

“What does that mean?” I was confused.

“It means we are going to claim you before we fuck you and you have to be absolutely sure that you want that before we do it,” Victor replied.

“Claim me?”

“You would be ours forever,” Sebastian answered.

“Okay, I will think about it. Will one of you show me to a bathroom?”

“This way,” Sebastian said and I followed him up the stairs.

We walked past two doors and into a third. It led to a large bedroom with a king size bed that had a black comforter on it. There was a black dresser against the wall and two more doors.

Sebastian led me into one of the doors and I looked around. There was a large black marble tub with a shower connected to it with black curtains, a black porcelain toilet, and a black marble sink.

Sebastian showed me where the shampoo, conditioner, and soap was then handed me a large plush black towel.

“Oh, and Nicki.”

“Yes?” I asked.

“If you are serious about being with us then don’t masturbate in the shower,” Sebastian said then walked away as I blushed.

Oh, my. I thought and bit my lip.
