My name is Arjun. I am studying a B.tech course in an engineering college. As usual one day evening I was returning home from college. I was walking on the footpath. I was about to pass a bus stop. A girl was at the bus stop. She is beautiful. But she was wearing a mask. I can only see her eyes. And her eyes were very attractive. She looked at me. Within a fraction of second eye contact has happened between us. Her eyes are trying to say something to me. The feeling I got that second was fantastic. And I had never got such a feeling before. I thought of talking to her. But I stopped because she may get a bad impression on me. So I went on my way. Another day I saw her at the same place. She was wearing a mask even today. Her hair was long and beautiful. I thought that she looked at me normally. So I went on my way. But my heart was heavy. I am unable to focus on what's happening around me. Either when I sit alone or with friends I am thinking about her eyes. I even didn't tell my friends about her. I didn't even see her face. I saw her another day at the same place. She was not wearing a mask. My two eyes are not enough to see her. She is beautiful as the Lotus which blooms in the morning. For me, it was like getting drenched in the morning drizzle on the Mountains. But even today I didn't try to talk to her. She might have a good impression on me or else she wouldn't see me every time. Later I didn't see her for one week. I hated myself because I didn't talk to her these days. After four days I saw her at the same place. I didn't even move. I was standing there looking at my mobile. She and another girl were waiting for the bus. Another girl was wearing headphones. She said loudly " Hey Nithya my Twitter ID is samyukthahere3". Then I came to know that her name must be Samyuktha. What a wonderful name. After that, she looked at me. She may be saying indirectly to me. Because the other girl was wearing earphones and she didn't even respond to her. I went on my way home. Even today I didn't talk to her. I created a Twitter account and searched for her ID. Her account was in private. I sent a follower request to her. I have waited for two days but she didn't accept my follower request. I felt very sad. She might be smiling at me thinking of me as a joker. Then I decided to not return home that way. Because I wished to not see her again as it hurts me more. I told my friend Sukumar about her. He said, "Forget what has happened and move on man ". After a few days, I went to meet Sukumar to collect notes. I was seated on my bike and talking to Sukumar. I saw Samyuktha there, even she saw me. She was going somewhere. I behaved as I didn't see her. One day my friend Sukumar called me to a restaurant. I parked my bike and went inside. He was sitting near the table and drinking coffee. He ordered another coffee for me. Suddenly, he received a call and said I have urgent work, I have to go. You finish your coffee and leave, we will meet on another day. He left the restaurant hurriedly. I finished my coffee. I went near to my bike which is at the parking spot. I was surprised Samyuktha is leaning on my bike. I was speechless. I don't know how to ask her to move from there. Then she said "can you speak at least today?. I thought you would talk to me from day 1. But you weren't spoken to me. I have given my Twitter ID indirectly to you. But my bad luck, my account was logged out automatically. I tried but it was not possible to retrieve my account. And my health was not good. So my mom told me not to go to college. And after that, I haven't seen you there. I was depressed. My life which was like an evergreen tropical forest had become like the Sahara desert. But destiny had other plans. Then I saw you near Sukumar's house. He was my senior in our school. I thought that you would at least come and talk to me that day. But you weren't talked Arjun. Then one day I asked Sukumar about you. Then he told that you love some girl near the bus stop. And that girl is me. I was happy that you too loved me. It was like a cyclone in mid-summer. You must say something to me right Arjun? She asked. Then I told her to move aside, please. I laughed and told I want to take my bike. She asked " so your bike is more important than me right. I told my life, future is the most valuable and important thing to me. And I'm ready to share my future with you. Then she smiled and hugged me. Few stories start with small incidents but become major turning points in your life. Thought of sharing many things but ended up saying little things. A smile on your face is the greatest gift to me as a writer.
