Summary

Scarlet Winters. She is the last girl you want to talk to in Jameson High, Summerville. Trust me, your reputation is at stake, here. Tired from being bullied by her cousin, Adrian, Scarlet is fed up of staying strong and the only reason she’s still bearing him is because of her Aunt, who took her in after her parents died. One night, a truth is revealed to her, forcing her to leave the place she had called home and only leaving a letter for her aunt and cousin. But, Scarlet never reached New York, the place where she was supposed to go. In fact, no one EVER saw Scarlet after that night. Everyone asked where she went and what happened to her. Scarlet answered the tons of questions, three years later, shocking everyone who had known her before. Three years back, she was a girl with a plan which consisted of an emergency address and number, a makeover kit, a new car number plate and above all, a fake death to commit. Scarlet didn’t care much for her bullies after three years. She had her eyes on the ultimate enemy who would either take her and her new family, down or he would go down with an unlikely ally who became Scarlet’s Hell.

Prologue

Throw me to the wolves,
Tell them,
To Claw my heart out,
And Hit me with their best shot,
To Shoot me in the stomach,
And Punch my face with all their might,
I will return for Vengeance,
As the leader of that very wolf pack.

“Mommy? Daddy?” My little hands opened the door to their room.

“Scarlet!” I screeched in surprise, as I heard my mother shout my name in pain.

I quickly ran inside the room trying to search for her. My heart unknowingly thumped loudly and tears began to roll down from my cheeks.

Something fell in the kitchen as I searched for my mom or my dad. I ran there, almost tripping over the cushions that were scattered on the ground.

What I saw in the kitchen stopped my heart. It literally felt like my heart broke into a million pieces and now I wanted to puke them out.

What I saw in the kitchen wasn’t what I had expected to see right after a tiresome day in school.

My Father lay dead on the bar stool with blood pooling around his head. My mother was lying on the floor beside him, her eyes becoming lifeless after seeing me as her blonde hair, reddened with blood. Her blood. My father’s blood.

The six year old me could only faint in response what lay in front of her.
