Prologue
Everyone who has read any of my books knows by now that I mention songs along the way. They are to help connect you with the character’s emotions and feel what they are feeling more intensely. It is not necessary to listen to the music, but I enjoy it when I am reading a book, and the author mentions a certain song or a passage from another book. I’m curious by nature and find myself looking up those songs or books. Most of the time I have wished there was an easier way to look them up. I think it helps me get to understand the author’s frame of mind at the time they wrote the book I’m reading.
Just as in my last book, I no longer list the songs here in the preface. While I understand that titles of a song are not copyrighted, I still like to give credit where credit is due…. I have only listed the songs, in the past, for your convenience to look them up if you wish, or go to the list I put together, again, for your convenience. I do not get paid for or take money from any artists.
