Falling For You

Trust me, I am lying

Have your mother ever told you something and then it turns out that she is right? And you are like, wow she is a psychic.

I always believed that when I am her age, I will know everything as well. Yet I kept getting to her age and she kept getting older and she is always right and I am always wrong.

"I wish you would come and pick me up. Imagine you pick me up and we go out together." I told him on the phone. I had training at work, on the fucking weekend. I just wish I was with Wolf instead.

"That would be nice, but where did you get that idea from?" He asked me chuckling since we had told our parents that we are only meeting once till Wolf settles his situation and his father comes back from abroad.

"I dreamt it. I dreamt that you and I went on an ice cream date and it was really nice." I said thinking about it.

"Alright, I will pick you up and we can do that." He said teasingly.

"Don't do that.... that's not nice." I said sadly.

"Do what?" He asked confused.

"It hurts that I cannot see you or hang out with you as much as I would like. Then you say something like that as if you will actually do it when you know you won't, it just makes me feel bad... that's all." I said sighing. It was not making me feel bad, it was torturing me. I just wanted to hang out with him and spend time with him.

"I'm sorry, Kitten. I didn't think of it this way..." He said feeling guilty which in turn made me feel guilty for making him feel guilty so in conclusion, I am such an awful person.

"Hey, it's fine. Don't worry about it.... you know what, maybe I can ask my dad to let you pick me up?" I said excitedly.

"No, don't do that. I don't want any troubles." He told me, but now my brain focused on just that.

"I can just ask, what do I have to lose? I will tell him we won't be alone, our sisters would be with us as if it is another casual meeting. This is going to be perfect!" I put out the plan already.

"Kitten, are you sure about that? I don't want them to think we are messing around or playing since we would be changing our minds about the whole one meeting and all?" He said hesitantly.

"Dude, just think about it. If it works, I will see you. If it doesn't, then at least we tried." I said. This was a risk I am willing to take. I want to see Wolf. I miss him like crazy.

And so I called my father, being an expert liar now. I was ignoring the screams in my head shouting at me for how I was doing exactly what I had sworn not to for Wolf, and trust me... it wasn't the only thing I would do for Wolf that I sworn before I won't.

"Mum, dad agreed to let me see Wolf!" I said excitedly. I could jump in joy right now, but I was in public.

"Were you the one asking or was it him?" She asked me and I was confused.

"Huh?" I asked weirdly. "What difference does it make?" I said.

"If he was the one asking to meet you again then it is alright. If it was you asking for it, then it is a red flag.'' She pointed out to me.

"Oh it was totally him, he asked me." I kinda lied? I mean I was the one to say let's do it and he didn't want to, but I am persistent and I made it happen and he didn't mind so it counts, right?

This was going to be the second time I see Wolf. My heart was racing as I waited outside for him. I remember from the last time that his car was grey. "I already arrived, Kitten and I am waiting for you." He stated to me which made me nervous. I don't want to keep him waiting.

Grey car, look for a grey car.

"I found you!" I said relieved as I rushed to the car and waved at him smiling widely and oh shit, who the fuck is that?! I don't remember him looking like this... oh no... my nightmare is coming true. He sent his relative to make sure he likes me.

"Kitten, where the hell are you?" He asked me snapping me out of my thoughts. That guy was holding the phone to his ears so I waved again to him and he looked confused as hell. Oh....

"Wrong car." I said embarrassed. "Shit, this is embarrassing. It is not you. I got the wrong car and I was going to ride with him. Dude, where are you?!" I said as I tried to hide from this man. He probably thinks I am crazy for waving like crazy to him and trying to get in the car with him.

"Oh my, Kitten don't ride with strangers. Can you see me now? I turned on my flashlight." He stated and I finally saw him. I skipped to his car quickly.

My body immediately ran cold once I got in the car alone with him. I can't believe this is real. He is right there. Wolf is right there again. Is this right? It has to be. Don't look panicky, don't embarrass yourself.

"Hi..." I said embarrassed. I am not used to being with a guy alone. Let alone a guy I am in love with. Wow, in love, look at you openly admitting to yourself you are in love with him.

"Hey, you look beautiful today." He smiled and reached his hand back to show me that he got me chocolate milk and chocolate cake.

"It's my favourite!" I gasped and looked at him. "You didn't have to, Wolf." I smiled. He was perfect.

"It's the least I could get in such a short notice. I wanted to get you a proper breakfast, but I didn't want to be late." He told me and Taylor Swift- The way I loved you played in the back of my head. "Can't keep my princess waiting." He said and I am going to choke right now. "So what happened there? Why didn't you find my car?" He asked me changing the subject, probably noticing that I was dying from his charm. That boy was just so damn good.

"Well, I don't know car brands. All I know is that your car was grey, so I found a grey car and the guy was also on the phone, but I couldn't see his face because the sun was reflecting on the front shield of the car." I said, but I was losing breath. The AC was too cold and it froze me. Not to mention I was nervous as hell around him and couldn't look him in the eye still.

"Just catch your breath, it's okay." He said softly. Damn this calming voice of his. He turned the AC up a little and I smiled because he knew how to read the signs. "Kitten, are you nervous because of me?" He asked me.

"No, I am not... the AC just made me cold." I claimed. You fucking liar. Your heart stopped and came back to life once you laid eyes on him.

"Alright, drink the milk now before it gets warm." He said reaching to the backseat and handing me one since he got a couple.

"Thank you!" I said happily like a child.

"I actually have some bad news..." He said and I glanced at him with the straw of the milk in my mouth still between my lips. "I can't pick my sister up with us, she is busy." He said and my eyes widened.

"Dude, my parents are going to think we lied to them!" I panicked and started to breathe heavily.

"Hey hey, just calm down. I will drive you home anyway. I will call your dad and ask for his permission after I explain the situation so he wouldn't think you lied to him." He assured me.

"No!" I said worried. "Call mum and she calls dad and tell him. She will know how to handle him better." I told him nodding. I gave him the number and waited for him to call.

Relax, he is the man. He will know how to handle the situation. I snapped my head towards him once he began speaking. Woah, since when does he speak like that? He got parents voice which is when you change your voice and attitude around parents. I found myself watching closely, his adorable pinchable cheeks and wow, he was super nervous that his upper lip was shaking. How can he do that? Look at his lips and the way they move.

I got him chocolate milk as well and placed the straw before I brought it to his mouth. He needs some sugar as well to calm himself down. He gave me a side glance and a smile as he continued to apologise to mum over the phone. They settled it down and he hung up, breathing out then looked at me with those gorgeous eyes. He took another sip from the chocolate milk before he smiled again.

"This was really sweet, Kitten. Thank you for looking out for me."
