Mason

Prologue:

Mason rode with the wind going through his hair, he had on Bluetooth earbuds and was listening to music from his phone. He had just pulled up to a stoplight when he saw a beautiful woman walking out of a corner store. He watched her put the small bag into her book bag and walk off towards the corner to cross. As she came closer to the corner where he was at, he got a closer look at her. Mason was astonished that a Black woman could look so good to him.

“Hey, do you need a ride?”

Andalee or Andy as her friends call her, looked up to see this biker smiling and talking to her. She pulled one of her earbuds out and looked back at the rugged biker.

“I’m sorry what did you say?”

The man began to move his bike closer to the corner.

“I said do you want a ride, I have an extra helmet.”

Andy smiled at the man’s handsome face and thought about it for a minute. ‘Heck why not? I only get to live once she thought.’ Andy slowly nodded her head making a wide smile spread across Mason’s face. He then hopped off and grabbed his extra helmet from his saddlebags and helped Andy to put it on.

“What’s your name darling?”

Andy smiled, the man had a nice southern drawl that she had learned to expect from people here in Maryland.
