Chapter 1
Hi, I am Calley Lacuna and I help what used to be earth. 30.000 people remain in this desolate society, earth almost destroyed. It would have been if I wasn't there. I am a 14 year girl and honestly people treat me like I rule the new world. Oh and no wifi so good luck surviving teenagers.
You are probably wondering why me of all people would save the would and to put it simply I control time and can blow up asteroids. To be honest if more people helped there would be a lot more people.
I walked down what used to be the rail road tracks. nobody operates the train anymore. Well really there is no use. I glance to see a cat meowing in search for food. I dig out the cheese and crackers that I had stored in my bag for this exact thing and feed the kitten. Purrr purrr. The cat nudged my hand thanking me for the food.
"Good little kitten" I say whilst scratching behind its ears. I walk towards New York City where all of the North and South Americans are taking shelter all together there are 19.354. and the others in Beijing. We are all scared for what the future hods for us.
It has been 1 month since the asteroids all fell. There are only a small fraction of the stars left the sky almost all dark and bleak. We don't have tides in the waters, as for the moon gone seemingly vanished. Some think the world was taken over by aliens. Well the also think that we are all doomed. I don't believe that. If we were as doomed as they say we would all be dead. I want to change that.
