You take a step forward, wary of these two for reasons unknown. Something that may be a memory flashes in your head. Warning? Premonition? Prophecy? You dismiss the fantastical thoughts and kneel beside the two, the feeling of being within the reach of attaining back your memories drifting away.
The two twins whisper two conflicting sentences at the same time, making it hard to focus and discern either of them. You ask them to repeat, and they shake their heads. You look down at them, and realize they are reading from a large tome, unarmed just as you are. The twins notice your attention shifting, and offer the ancient looking tome to you.
What do you do?
Putting his latex cap back on and nestling his large starred headphones over it, Myos walked out of the bar with a thoughtful frown on his face. He adjusted the chained strap that covered his shoulder and made his way away from the dingy area, looking around for any less than pleasant city goers. Though what Zeke said about war was true, the fact still remained that people around here still found ways to commit crime.
Maybe one of them would know how to get military grade weapons? Myos immediately dismissed the thought. They weren’t going through shady people to do this, or they would be just like the Empress. No, they were goings to be idols, heroes even. The thought put a smile on his face and he continued on, once hesitant step jaunty again as he fell back into his own carefree self. He had a mission, a purpose in life for once, and he wasn’t going to sully his true calling by going about it in an underhanded way.
A campaign notifier flashed across his computer glasses, and for the first time in his life Myos ignored it.
