What is your biggest fear? Public speaking? The dark? Intimacy? Failure? Rejection?

Mine? Death. The unknown. It's very simple to say: No matter what you believe- Heaven, Hell, Reincarnation, Limbo- we have no idea. My second fear is that I could die at any point in time. Another simplicity: Humans are fragile. We bleed, we break, we die. Very easy concept. But why live in fear?

The Society came up with a way to not life in fear of death. They created a mathematical equation to determine a person's death date. The Society then required every citizen to wear a silver watch. Kaydence had the longest life expectancy at Brooks High. She has the longest life expectancy in years. She died of a disease. Pneumonia was it's name. Citizen's Square, the largest square on Earth, was in pandemonium. Citizens were distraught. Pneumonia died out when The Society took the throne over Earth. Extremely rare. The Society promised it was expected. Nothing ever works out 100%, right? This consoled the citizens. But not me.
