Chapter 10 - Level Three
Level three was much like level two except that the distances between rocks had increased but the moonlight had faded with the oncoming snow. Dark crevices between the rocks could spell salvation or death. I inched forward, reaching my toes as far as they would go, but the snow had turned to ice and I slipped. In my scramble to avoid being trapped I slipped past the rock and onto a crescent shaped flat part of the next rock banging my shin and falling face first into the rock.
