Lose Some, Win Some
“The girl.... have you yes you the reader ever noticed how Silver doesn’t just not talk about anything from age eleven he actively avoids it like the plague.”
Silver’s First Love....
Silver was sent to a strange psychiatric home he woke up in a huge all white room in an all white jump suit. “Hello is anyone there,” he yelled. A door opened and a girl was shoved in before the door closed behind her. She was in a black jump suit, she looked at Silver with fear genuine fear mix with absolute exhaustion in her eyes. She had been put there as a human test subject for him to interact with.
If he listened closely he could hear the faintest screams from inside the wall where the girl had come out. An older woman “are they expecting me to kill you,” he thought to him self. He appeared in front of her and looked up at the ceiling and without a single movement on his part blew up a path all they way out. They flew out in an instant. “So what’s your name,” he asked wonderingly. “ Marly... Marly Prodvance,” she said. He took her to his house and asked how she’d been put as bait or whatever she was doing.
“My mum told me that if I went and did as told that everything would be fine and I would even get to see my dad again.” She started weeping. “All I wanted was to see him but I only found out what was happening when it was to late, that is when I knew what she wanted to get rid of me so she can afford more fucking cocaine.” “Well the cunt can go suck a dick for all I care Marly,” Silver responded.
They got to know each other over the course of the year and it was just 2 mouths before His twelfth birthday. He wanted to do something fun because he secretly kind of fell in love. They had found a place that seemed like a good time, a rave, that weekend in Alaska. The two hoped on a flight there and got there a day later, they found a really nice hotel they had everything even a indoor private pool. Silver runs his feet on the carpet making that nice soft scratching noise.
They went to the party a around 7:00pm and it was awesome they had so much food and all these people to talk to and the party itself was in a Victorian style mansion in the middle of nowhere. Hour two Silver got a bunch of food chicken pizza you name it, he was really really full after probably around 10,000 calories. Hour three three dudes in tuxedos showed up which was a little odd because people had stopped coming or leaving an hour ago.
“Everybody get on the ground,” the three shouted as the pulled out three strange looking AK-47’s. They immediately looked at Silver who wasn’t on the ground “Hey stop whatever this is and get the fuck out,” he boldly commanded. They shot him with a green tranquilizer dart. His legs went numb then he passed out in under a minute.
Silver woke up in a cold basement handcuffed to the pull with these jet black cinder block things. His whole body aced “did they kick me everywhere,” he thought to him self se he get the tenderness of his face. He looked over at Marly who was posstioned ten meters away and in between the two of them was an older woman who looked a lot like Marly. She looked pretty beat up too oddly enough Marly didn’t have a scratch. “Well Well Mrs. Prodvance, Silver woke up in a cold basement handcuffed to the pull with these jet black cinder block things. Prodvance do you have anything for me or no,” said a rough Russian voice. Out stepped a man who was the definition of the phrase ‘Mob Boss.’ “ Love you to bitch,” the woman states.
“Enough with the games woman,” the man persisted. They bickered for a minute before he explained that he was. “Absolutely done with the bullshit,” and reached into his pocket to pull out a small handgun. Without warning he shot Marly twelve time’s in the chest head and lower legs. “You monster she didn’t even know what was going on,” Silver screamed. The man turned around like lightning and shot him. The bullet it wasn’t like the other one it was normal it ricocheted off of his chest and hit the man in the left eye, but not before hitting a wooden table and starting a huge fire. Silver with one solid motion broke the hand things and grabbed Marly and ran though he was hurt and couldn’t run as fast as usual and didn’t know were to go.
He ran for what felt like hours holding a dying girl in his arms. They was a lone tree on a hill and disided that they could take a quick breath. Silver knelt down and placed her leaning upward in a sitting position they both looked up that they sky they both saw the northern light’s. Then. She whispered “ It was nice.... you know,” Silver got worried and felt her a minute later she was ice cold blood trickling down her now graying face. “ I truly loved you,” he whimpered. He screamed into the night for several minutes.
The Train Cat....
He walked the direction they were headed and found a train station he sat down and waited 10 minutes later this guy and his girlfriend arrived and the guy was complaining about the fact that even though they walked all the way there that even still Someone else go the bench. “Move,” he angrily said as he pushed Silver’s shoulder. Silver didn’t even blink. “Babe look at his left arm,” he looked an saw it was covered in burns and gashes. The guy started apologizing. Then the train arrived they got on and Silver found the whole train empty except the conductor and the couple.
He fell asleep for about twenty minutes and woke up deciding that exploring the train would get his mind off things. First Silver hit the dinning car for a bag of donuts. After he went from car to car there was seriously something utterly weird about this train. Silver found a car that he hadn’t noticed before it was all gray when most of the others where wooden brown. He stepped inside it was cold really really cold he could see his breath emanating from his face. There weren’t any objects in the car no furniture, boxes, nothing but there was a cat. Shivering in the middle of the car was a tabby about the size of a teddy bear. Silver called out “Hey are you okay you could die if stayed in here for to long.” He belt down and picked it up before carrying it to his seat. He put the thing on his lap but it never left. Silver began petting her little forehead and she started to say something. “ Hello who are you mister I owe you one for saving me but I was in there for like five minutes. So I’m fine Silver pulls out a set of headphones and connects to the train audio.
“That’s a strange looking Walkman were do you put the music,” she asked. “Wait when do you think this is?” He questioned. “1992 right,” she answered. “ your joking right,” Silver continued. “ it’s 2016.” “No your lying there’s no way it’s been that long I was in there for a few minutes,” she said. They both look where the car was. “It’s gone!” They both said. Silver asked for her name, Elizabeth Greenwood. She responded. After that Silver introduces himself and began to explain his situation of losing someone very special. Eli starts crying saying that she’s so sorry for him, he tells her to shut up cause he doesn’t wanna dwell on it right now.
They get off in some super futuristic city and get some food. He thanked Eli, she asked why he said “for keeping me on par with sanity.” They got a 12 inch Italian sandwich for Silver and pancakes for Eli. Silver gets up to get some water. She tells him to watch her as Eli makes water out of thin air and puts it into to cups. “ So you have a power huh,” Silver wondered out loud. She explained that everyone in her family the Greenwood’s could control an element. “Do you have any siblings?” Silver asked. “ yeah a younger sister, actually I think she’s....” Eli starts tearing up. “ is she,” “I think I know who your talking about sounds familiar and no sorry she’s left us if we’re thinking of the same cat, how’d you know.” “ I could feel her life force last I saw her now it’s gone,”
