As a clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, and forensic psychologist, Dr. Scott Sindelar has been assisting patients and clients for over 30 years. He taught in the psychology department at Arizona State University, designed and managed inpatient and residential dual-diagnosis (Substance Abuse + Other Psychological Disorders) programs, and has a private practice in Scottsdale, AZ.
He enjoys writing, teaching, and helping a larger audience through seminars and writing than he could ever reach through his private practice.
He is also a Trike pilot, flying motor gliders (a safe and enjoyable sport, as seen in the movie Fly Away Home). He can be seen flying his own Trike in scenes from the film The Hoax, by Walker O’Brien.
As an avid reader, he has noticed that the volume of books he reads has increased dramatically since obtaining a Kindle and syncing it with his iPhone and laptop.
Dr. Sindelar shares a home with his best friend and wife, Susan, and the best dog in the world, Pippin.
