Summary

When a star blows up, someone's going to pay. Humanity has been fighting the alien threat for decades, and the war just ratcheted up a notch. Sent to aid a dreadnaught under siege, Dani Devereaux and the crew of Alaska's Vengeance find themselves caught in a trap. A trap that brings a new ultimate weapon to the battlefield, destroying an entire star system. Narrowly escaping, she returns home to find victory parades turned into lines of questioning reporters all wanting to learn the details of her failure. But endings can create new beginnings, and when Dani hits rock bottom, she finds a way to regain her pride—and though not her honor, at least she'll have her vengeance.

olamide: Very exciting read

Dracyy: The trouble with tequila is it’s really hard to make good decisions when drinking. Connie is pie faced drunk when she’s abducted by aliens 👽. So starts a hilarious journey as one independent human with not much of a filter finds out there is a whole universe of beings out there. I adored watching...

annelinviste1: Sweet, sad and good 🥰

Rae Irvine: I like story and the writing is good. I would like a little more character development. There is a lot of good stuff going on but it could have a little more depth

WonderWoman: I liked how she came around to liking the farm and her feeling for the pony that was injured a lot of drama came crashing down in the end which will probably kind of give it a dramatic ending.

Dracyy: Survival is difficult particularly when you are from Texas where it’s hot and you crash in the Arctic. Amelia was not ready for winter never mind the hunky back woodsman she found. Sweet story about two stubborn people who might just learn to love again if they don’t kill each other first.
