Emma’s POV

“Follow me.” Damen said smoothly as he lead me down a long hallway.

“Okay.” I said giggling. Why did I act this way around him!

I followed him as he led me into a big room with a huge bed, and a small living area. I figured that it must of been his room. He led me to his bed and motioned me to sit down.

Most of me was in love, and excited to be sitting near him, while a small part of me was terrified about what he was doing. But all fear flew out the window, and was replaced with excitement, when I noticed him scooting closer to me. He kept getting closer up until our knees touched. My heart was pounding so hard that I was sure he could hear it.

Then, pulling me from my thoughts, he said in a soft and dreamy voice, “Come on, Celeste. You remember this. Remember, this is where you were labeled as mine, where I told you that you were, and forever will be, mine. Where I forced you in my b-”

“Wait! You slept with my mother!?”

“No I slept with you- wait, did you just say your mother?

Uh-oh.

“You said you were Celeste, but you forgot everything.” Damen said explaining to me, but more to himself. “But, Celeste is your mom?”

I punched I’m in the face, my anger getting the better of me. I watched as he put his hand up to his nose, which was now bleeding, and then he mumbled “My mom...”

Then, I watched as Damen darted off in to the hallway. At first I didn’t care, then I realized that he would tell Queen Kina about all of this and I couldn’t let that happen.

I darted off after him, running as fast as I could.

I lunged forward towards Damen, once I was close enough. I managed to grab his ankle and pull him to the ground.

“Please... *gasp* don’t... *gasp* say anything... *gasp*” I said, trying to catch my breath.

“Why *gasp* should I!” Damen yelled back at me, catching his breath.

“Because...” I thought up a lie real quick, “I’m a witch. I can destroy all of you with the snap of my fingers.”

I watched as his eyes widened and I had to fight back the urge to laugh.

“N-no you’re not.” He said.

“Do you want to test that theory?” I said raising my hand and acting like I was about to snap my fingers.

Gosh, I hope that he doesn’t want to test it, otherwise I’m dead.

He shook his head furiously.

“Aww... the once fearless lion is now just a little scared kitty.” I said smirking.

Now... how to seal the deal...

“Keep in mind, if you tell anyone that I am a witch, I’ll know. If you say something I don’t want you to say, I will have to kill them. Including you. And you and I both know that I don’t want to do that, but I won’t hesitate to if you make me.”

He nodded his head really sharply as I stood up and let go of his ankle, realizing that I was still laying on the floor behind him, his ankle in my hand. He scurried up on to his feet and looked at me in fear.

“Bye my kitten, you do like when I call you that, right?”

“Y-y-yes.”

“Oh ok, I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable.” I said batting my long eyelashes.

“Bye.” I started to walk away, but I could feel his eyes staring me down. Hmm... let’s play a game.

I turned around and looked him dead in the eyes, fear filled his features when he realized that I knew he was watching me. I looked at him and blew him a light kiss. Turning sharp on my heal, I walked away down the hall.

I don’t even know where my room is, but I decided I would find it eventually.

After a while of walking, I ran into a guard and he led me to my room.

Once I got inside, I turned around to say thank you but he slammed the door in my face. What scared me the most was the fact that after he shut the door I heard a click. He locked me in!

Then I realized, it doesn’t even matter that he locked it, I don’t know how to open the door anyways. There must be some kind of key pad or something. I laid down on the white couch, I would need to get Damen to get me a bed later. Nevertheless, I fell asleep pretty fast.

“Nooooo!!!!!” I screamed waking up from my nightmare.

Dream:

*Distant screaming*

“Dad? Is that you?”

*Coughing*

I walk closer to the noise.

“No, dad I need you!”

“You... *cough* left me...”

“No dad, I didn’t leave you. I was... taken.”

“You could of... *uncontrollable coughing* come back for me...”

“No dad!”

“This is... *cough* your fault...”

I watched as the life drained slowly from his eyes.

“Nooooo!!!!!”

End Dream

Tears streaming down my cheeks, I realized that it was a warning. I need to return to my dad.

But... I need to find out about my mom. My mom. Mom. I haven’t thought of that word in a long, long time. Mom.

I ran over to the wall where the door was and started to bang and scream.

“Open the door! Help me! Please! I need help!”

After a long time of screaming, I sat against the wall, pulling my knees to my face. I rested my head on my knees and let out a big sob. After that, the barrier just burst.

I must of fallen asleep crying, because I woke up to a harsh knocking on my door.

Standing up, I said “Hello?”

“You should of been in the main hall an hour ago! Come out, and your punishment will be minimum.”

“I don’t know how...” I said wiping my tear-streaked eyes.

“Ugh, and she is supposed to rule over all of us, I’m rioting... if she survives.”

With that, the door slid open and the guard at the door stared, shocked, at me.

Shaking his head, he called out to someone that came rushing in my room.

The lady looked at me and cringed. Wow. I must look bad.

She walked over to one of the empty walls and tapped it. A big fluffy bed came down out of the wall.

My eyes widened in shock. Woah.

She then walked over to another wall and a doorway opened up. A bathroom.

She walked in and pointed to the shower.

“We renovated this room to something similar to what you are used to on Earth.”

I nodded my head and mumbled a quick thanks. I looked in the mirror at my reflection. My eyes were all red and puffy from crying, and my face was streaked from crying. I looked terrible.

She walked out of the room, so I stripped down so I could get in the shower.

After getting cleaned I tapped on the door, like the lady had showed, and walked out of the door. I made my way towards the main hall, but when I got there, it was only me and Damen.

A sly grin came across my face, as he fidgeted nervously with his hands.

“So, you wanted to see me?” I questioned him, raisin an eyebrow.

“No.” He sounded awfully confident.

“Everyone left already, why else would you stay?”

“You aren’t a witch.”

“Yes I am.” I repeated the lie.

“No, you were screaming in your sleep. Something about your dad?”

A sharp pang rang through my chest at the mention of my dad. “Tortured sleep, just a side effect of witches.” I shrugged. I didn’t think that was even true, but it seemed to work.

“But you were also trapped in your room. If you were really a witch, you could of easily left.”

“I have to stay on the low. They need to think I’m helpless. By the way, you’re making me mad. Trying to get me in trouble.” I shook my head, making a clicking sound with my mouth.

Fear enveloped the handsome boy as he ran over to me and grabbed the him of my white dress.

I looked down to him skeptically.

“I-I-I’m sorry! Please, I beg of you, I’m sorry!”

“Your fine, kitten, just know, that was you last shot.”

“Yes ma’am.”

“No, don’t say ma’am. I’m just your powerful girlfriend.”

“G-girlfriend?”

“Yes, if it wasn’t obvious, I have a huge crush on you.”

Suddenly all fear left me as I realized that I could easily trick these aliens.

Maybe this could be to my advantage...
