Summary

In the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, a kind-hearted nurse is caught up in dealing with what seems to be one of the worst healthcare crises in the nation's history. But is it though? Wendy Dandelion, a skilled nurse, is driven by her exasperation at seeing patients with otherwise serious medical problems being ignored so that anyone with symptoms of this new "virus" can be given preferential treatment. Confronting the ever-present racial discrimination in our country that the virus makes even more apparent, a woman of color is determined to discover what is really happening...even if her search for the truth takes her all the way to the White House.

Vaulthunter: Don't get me wrong, I love a enemies to lovers trope, but it's also nice to read about two who don't fight the bond. Skipping the whole "I'ma treat you like crap because I'm secretly in love with you" while also maintaining a grumpy brooding tone is hard to balance but this author did it perfectl...
