Biological Hazard: Outbreak Of Kalopsia

Year:2208

Kalopsia, a state, a delusion in which something appears to be more appealing than it really is. If someone has been drawn into believing something that isn’t right, they see it as something captivating, beautiful.

After many Biological wars, the world had been left in ruins. The people had been brought together by a man who’s dream was to see the world of peace again and to this day that peace has been kept because of his descendants. The power he bought was the power of cyborgs, advanced humans. Men who had lost limbs had been ‘repaired’ and given jobs in a special division in the military. The power and hope this man brought was enough to rebuild what little of the world was left. His group of scientists would also take on people for experiments. Injecting formulas into the subjects giving them powers such as Energy sourcing, Magnetism manipulation, and even Biological manipulation.

People were trained in special academies for military recruits as there was still Biological weapons left out on the land that some would have once called home. These weapons needed to be destroyed, however, these Biological weapons changed and adapted to the environment and to this day, these weapons are a fret. And so, the royal academy of the colonies was created to train people in a variety of skills to aid the military in ridding the world of these monsters left behind.

Because the structure of life had been changed, lives lost and countries destroyed the living had been moved into a new area of life known as the regions. These regions are numbered from Zero to Four. The higher the number the better the living, the lower the number, well...

Region Zero is the smallest of all regions, however, it holds the most power as this region is where the world is governed from. There are only a few building within this region, all these buildings, though, are rather large in size and those in power live here, the man who changed the world lived here, his descendants live here to this day. The man who saved us all, he claimed to be as important as any other and wanted to share with the citizens of his world. He was friendly to everyone and encouraged the people to visit this region and take tours.

Region One has become known to be the wealthy region or the city. This region has more buildings, cleaner streets, healthier citizens, however, it has its fair share of backstreets that have a rather foul odour and keeps a wet-looking appearance as there are often leaks in these backstreets but, because not many law abiding citizens occupying this area, the government has made no moves to repair the area. The royal academy of the colonies is also located here. The tall building overlooks the rest of the region, students are given dorm rooms when studying at the academy. The campus is filled with students making their way to their classes or scurrying off to take a quick nap.

Region Two houses the citizens of the second class, it has also become known as the town. There remains an ounce of the appearance of Region One in the inland, however, on the outskirts, the scenery appears to look more like a village, with larger gardens and more greenery.

Region Three, also known as the farm region. This region is made up of, almost entirely, farmland. The green fields spread far across this region. The animals run free across the healthy green grass and this is where the most trade comes from. The job of the citizens of this region is to make clothing, sell livestock and make blunt weapons.

Region Four, the war region, the poorest of all regions. The people of this region live in cramped homes or out on the street, they have a hard time making any money and the only way they make anything is when the students of the academy come through as this region has government built training grounds for the academy students to train in many different physical activities.

This is the way the world works now, you go by these rules, you do as you should and you get by.

Jasmine Chow: As I read this story, I was reminded some what of Terry Pratchett, especially some descriptions of politics and economics. The sci-fic setting is quite intriguing. aaron10905: This is undoubtedly one of the best books written on here. I actually unistalled this app until someone told me about this story. I came back not expecting much, just to be drawn into the story and the characters. I would buy this book in real life, as long as another was promised shortly after.

Pablo Rojas: Love the story, at the end it is a western story, simple, yet giving hints and pieces of the situation that is happening all over ravencroft´s universe. easy to read and always keeping with the main stream story I want to keep reading about, Olafson´s adventures.

Jordano Quaglia: I was taken to the future, to the shock of worlds among the people in the underground versus the mutants.
