Introduction

By faith Ralph and Elise followed a prompt from His Spirit. They finished and equipped what her parents started in faith, not knowing the end. They stood by that faith even though the multi-purpose building, warehouse, and the tons of provisions were deemed crazy by the local population.

For they understood vision, not holding to those around them, seeking instead to prepare the way. For how could others know the passion, the sharp desire to fulfill until all was accomplished?

Then it happened, placing the bounty so carefully prepared into the point of need. The land dropped out from under the city by the river below the bluff. In three horrible minutes a sleeping city faced the wrath of a raging river, broken streets, and crumbling buildings. Citizens plunged from collapsing homes into a nightmare of death reaching for them at every turn, and yet…

What’s this? The high bridge still stands? Quick now, a way out is provided leading across the river to the opposite bluff. There the gleaming white spire of the little white church on the bluff stands above the ruins, pointing the way for those in despair. Hundreds sought this way, leaving what was, reaching for what is to be.

The faithful few on the bluff race to prepare for the throngs of wounded in body and spirit, for the needs of the people staggering up river drive involve both ministries.

Turn the page. Join the faithful few. Hear the cries. See the haunted looks. Hear the moans of those carried from crushing walls. See the wild looks in desperate faces of those seeking who made it out…, or not? But first, understand vision.

The writing style itself is amazing because you can learn every character's thoughts and emotions. The awkward love triangle and jerk moments adds to the ...

OpheliaJones: This story took a different kind of spin on the "normal girl lives with definitely not normal guy" plot. The plot points of Frey's father, Liam's family, and Frey's view of Liam's world were good to read. She did not fall in love with him in the first couple weeks. Their lives were not smooth in ...

emmaneal74: I loved this booked. Would definitely buy it when published and read it again. The story flowed in such a way I just couldn't put it down. Samantha Speed: There were several punctuation, grammar, and missing word problems but it did not detract from the story. This story was very well done, enjoyable, and had an interesting enough plot. matrixmark: I thought that the introduction to this was relly well written and structurally sound in its presentation. The introduction to the cabin in the woods was good too. To me, it felt like a Blair Witch of yesteryear, but the things which you added in about the mutilated boys were certainly something n...

zoheusher20: What more can I say? The writing style and little details drew me into the book and for the entirety of the story I was Juliet. I felt her turmoil and emotions and every trouble or triumph as they arrived. This story was very different and had quite a few little but unexpected twists that made it...

Althea Kerr: This is a tale that is all too familiar to South African readers having lived through a war era on our borders and beyond. It is obviously autobiographical as the mind under duress is so detailed and real. It has fantastic suspense if a bit disjointed - perhaps that is the fear and loneliness com...

263Adder: Okay so I adore this story. I only knocked one star off plot for historical inaccuracies because I'm a bit of a stickler for that. The ending broke my heart though, considering you already changed history couldn't you (SPOILER) change it a bit more and have them together!!!! I want an alternative...

maewilde25: I liked this, though it dragged on for over 200pages and heaven knows I did not expect the plot twist in the middle. David being Cristiãn. Stephen Warner: To start off, I am thoroughly impressed. The writing style is somewhat unique, and the plot seemed to move at a nice and steady pace.
