He apparently participated in a genetic experiment trying to defuse a mutagenic strain of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever, which caused "dangerous effects" in all five test groups of pigs. He appears to be one of the many scientists who quit at the end of an eleven-day experiment relating to this disease; when asked as to any safety problems, he simply said that "hazmat suits weren't enough."
