Summary

My fun little game had quickly turned into a horror show as I just realised I wouldn't even remotely know where to find Jake now. With every stroke of wind against my clothes, I got less excited and more anxious. I practically blew his car up and I didn't see him when I ran back for my bike. So I would no longer have the upper hand in knowing what vehicle he was in, where he was staying ,or even what he fully looked like. I thought about it for a moment. He was wearing a suit...filled it out well too, so he must have worked out regularly. Was about 6'3" with black hair and sunglasses. Just as I was thinking of ways to try and find Jake, that small little insignificant thing called the element of suprise just vanished. Without a single clue left behind for my shoot or be shot situation.

Prologue

I started to run down the street to hop on the yellow kawasaki bike I just bought from this kind family man. Not sure what happened to Jake, but I could hear sirens in the distance. I knew I had to get out of there. I pulled the keys to my friend’s car out of my pocket to lock up, since I knew I couldn't come back for it for a bit.

I'll be back for you Bessie I thought to myself as I returned the keys to their rightful spot. I then pulled the clutch in and shifted up to first gear, and practically flew out of the park parking lot I had left Bessie in. Hugging the bike tight as I made the sharp left turn onto the main street, a thought popped into my head like a bubble bursting. Dammit! The family I bought this bike from must have heard and maybe even saw what transpired between Jake and I. They probably were the ones that called the cops.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” I said to myself nodding my head up and down sharply. He got a good look at me, my face. I panicked and wondered if he or any of his family members described me to the cops. I then snapped back to reality like a fire cracker and returned to a normal speed once I felt I was far enough away from the bank that I couldn't be linked to what took place.

Let me start over so you can better understand how the events that lead up to the bank even took form.

Stephanie Roberts-Harman: I really enjoyed this book, the grammar was good and the book kept me interested. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys romance, with some comedy. I am a sucker for romantic comedies so I really liked it.

Tina Weatherford: Good book. A bit slow paced but keeps you hooked.

Samantha: This book is amazing though I would have been happier if it wasn't so short and get more drama from Luke n his twin. Also see how their blend over as years go by with more fiction. It a very NYC mafia short story that lives u with a lot of unanswered questions.
