Chapter 1: Blood

I woke up, feeling dizzy and nauseous. My head was spinning, my vision blurry. I wanted to throw up. I tried to sit up, I feel really sick.

I quickly scanned my surroundings as I remember the last thing that happen. I'm inside a room, the sheets were made out of satin. I can see metal bars, I guess this is not a room, maybe it's a dungeon.

I tried standing up, but my legs felt wobbly, I held the wall for support. That's when I realized that my clothes were different! I was now wearing a satin lavender night gown that ended just above my knees.

That bastard! I can't believe he kidnapped me!

"You're awake..." I almost had a heart attack! I held my hand to my chest and stared at the one who spoke.

Our eyes locked. His eyes were beautiful. They were color violet. It's my first time to see someone that has an eye color like that. My ocean blue eyes were really common in our campus back then.

I scanned his face. He was really good looking... Really good looking. I couldn't take my eyes off him. My eyes went to his body. Ripped muscles. A nice built. Tall and lean. Before my eyes went down I stopped myself.

Snap out of it! You can't have Stockholm Syndrome!

"W-why am I h-here?" I felt nervous. My body shaking violently. I looked up at him. He smirked. My eyes widened when he bended the metal bars and slid himself inside the prison I'm in.

"How do you feel?" He went to me and held my arm. "I'm sorry I had to use dioxin. It was my last resort if you didn't want to come with me." I took my arm away from him. I was surprised on how I regained my strength.

"Please... I need to go home..." I felt like crying. I just want to forget this nightmare. My body ached in every part. He smiled at me and said,

"You are home. Our home." I stepped away from him. I couldn't believe what he said. I wanted to run away from this place. I don't care where I go. I just wanted to leave. But I was too weak to do it.

He pulled me closer to him. I felt his arms wrapped around my waist. He was rubbing my back up and down. I felt him pressing kisses to my temple. I struggled. I tried to push him away but he was too strong, or maybe I'm too weak?

"Come on, we need to have brunch. You haven't eaten anything the whole day." I shook my head.

"I want to go home..." I looked up at him, desperately begging.

"Silly, we are home." I shook my head.

"This isn't my home! I don't belong here!" I burst out. Tears streaming down my face. My chest was panting heavily.

"This is now your home! Our home! You now belong to me!" I felt shivers down my spine. I backed away. Terrified at what he might do.

"Now, let's go up stairs and have brunch" his tone went to that terrifying one to a soft one. I shook my head no. I stepped backwards, ready to run, before I could, my back hit the wall.

"You don't want to have brunch?" he asked, he looks a bit worried. No, how can he worry about me. He's insane. I didn't say anything. I was afraid he might hurt me. I heard him sigh. I was looking down my feet.

He held my arm, I can feel his warm hand around it, the grip getting tighter. I felt his sharp finger nails dug to my skin. I yelped. It was painful, my flesh was like being sliced by five sharp knives. I cried. It was painful.

I need to find a way out of here. I can't stay here any longer. I need to figure out a escape plan. But first, I need to gain his trust. I need to know my enemy. Fighting with him was futile.

I looked up at him, my eyes blurry due to the tears. I felt his hand loosen. I wiped my tears away. My heart raced when I saw him licking my blood off his fingers. One by one.

"You taste... Exquisite, darling..."

I gasped. He wasn't just a kidnapping maniac! He was also a cannibal!

"Don't worry, I don't eat human flesh. I only want the blood..." he said, as if he red my mind.

Is he a vampire then?

"I'm not a vampire either."

Then what is he?

"I'm much more worse than any other creature." he smirked

We had brunch at his enormous kitchen. He led me to his really long table, pulled me a chair and made me sit on it. He had servants to serve us out food. They poured our glasses with a red liquid, probably wine. At first, I hesitated. Who knows what's inside those food!

He sensed my hesitation when he saw me staring at the food suspiciously. He called a servant to test the food for me. They gave me a steak with mashed potatoes on the side and corn. It had this maroon sauce all over it. I took a slice and ate it. It was delicious!

I took a sip on the wine, it tasted bittersweet.

I don't know if it's really delicious or I'm just hungry. I continue to eat, it was so good. I noticed he was eating something else, bacon and eggs with melted cheese. I got distracted when the servants took my plate and replaced it with a bowl full of dark red liquid. Don't tell me this is--

Before I can say it, the servant beside me spoke,

"This is mushroom soup, Miss. Our chef made it especially for you." I can see that she was still young. About 16 or 17?

"Uh... My compliments to the chef..." I moaned, the soup tasted wonderful too. In my peripheral view, I can see him looking at me.

"What?" I looked at him, waiting for a response.

"From now on you'll be staying with me. You'll sleep in my room." I almost dropped the spoon I was holding. I gulped. What does this guy want?

"I want you to be with me every second" he smirked, and that smirk gave me goosebumps all over my body.
