Chapter 7: Graham Williams

It felt so good to see Lydia, I missed her so much . I never told her this but I really like her, so that kiss on the cheek made me feel good. The doctors came in with their plan on how my physical therapy and treatments will go. But I didn’t want to listen. I don’t know what happened but when the doctors walked out of the room, the slam of the door caused this flash of light in my mind and I saw the man with the bat. But it wasn’t just him I saw. There was something new about this flash, I noticed another person in the room... another person around my age struggling against the duck tape binding his wrists. “You need to save him!” I screamed. My mind was racing a million miles a minute, my chest had weights on it. Tears began to roll down my face, a cold sweat broke out. Why I am here safe, while there is a boy who is still in the hands of the man? “Graham you have to calm down” said Mom. “Calm down. Calm down! I am here while another boy is getting beaten and his family might be going through something much worst and he could loss die!” I was going crazy I didn’t know what to do. My mind was going so crazy but then I slowly began to calm down until I fell asleep.
