Extremely promising

I was immediately attracted by the topic of this book, as it sounded pretty original to me. The writing is very descriptive and atmospheric, although some punctuation is missing, which makes the reading difficult.
The main characters are very well developed, with psychological and personality traits that help the reader connect with them. It looks like this story is about relationships and healing, but it's too soon to say. Anyway, I've enjoyed reading it and pretending to keep going. Maybe I would have appreciated some scene build-up at the end of the chapters, but overall this book is extremely promising.

Straight into action

This book plunges you directly into action, and the intriguing plot attracts you from the beginning. The two main characters are very interesting as Meave is less showy, while Arlo is a powerful heroine. There are surviving's rules, and the two girls make sacrifices to stay as safe as possible. I truly want to throw rotten tomatoes at the villains! There are a few minor issues with punctuation that can be easily fixed, but overall I highly recommend this thought-provoking sci-fi novel.

A little gem

I'm pretty delighted about this short novel. It's a little gem, that reminds me of Jane Austen's books. I liked the idea that the author chose not to name characters other than Ava, the main protagonist. I was instantly captivated by the setting, which instilled in me calm.
It's an ageless story, that could be taking place everywhere in the world. Overall, the writing could not have been better. It is descriptive, lush, and brilliant. Just read it.

It's worth it!

This book reminds me of Stranger Things and Jumanji. As I don't know the rules of D&D, I found the beginning a little tricky. But when fantasy and reality start mixing up, then the story finally takes off. It becomes more and more psychological. So, if you're like me, don't give up, but keep on reading. It's worth it!

A unique story

This story is not about cats but is a cat lovers story. The characters are not trivial. They all have something special, which is a big plus for me, and they're multilingual (another big plus). So far, I appreciate the complexity of Hazel. I would have fancied some more ambient descriptions to have a better taste of Italy and to split the dialogues. This novel glorifies diversity. We all should embrace our uniqueness. Thank you for remembering that.

A terrific discovery

I must admit that this is not my favorite genre, but I have a curious nature and love pushing myself outside my comfort zone. This book was a terrific discovery. All the characters are well-constructed and have great potential. By the mid-point of the novel, I was rooting for Liam. I’m certainly interested in following his development. The action descriptions are fundamental here and you can tell the author put passion into them. Besides that, there is a lot of suspense. Great job!

Nice descriptions

Good job on the introduction of the main character. I liked the descriptions. Dialogues and narration are very well balanced. Some punctuation is missing and there's a misspelling between lowercase L and capital I, but overall the plot is captivating.

Intringuing but...

I know Aria lost her memory but, at the beginning of the book, she asks herself too many questions for my taste. The reading's pace is almost always the same. Besides that, good start and idea.
