Angels Don’t Cry

Absolutely beautiful. I love that it didn’t feel rushed, and despite being billionaires, the characters were so relatable and human that it was easy to become attached and involved in their story. Wonderfully written, gorgeous!

A Safari romance

Stunning. Beautifully written, flowing, emotional, shocking, and new are all words that come to mind. The twists and turns don’t feel out of place, and the chemistry between the protagonists is palpable. Truly couldn’t put this novella down. And the final part that made me love this is the aspect of female empowerment and the strength that can come from a relationship based not only on chemistry but respect and equality. I repeat, stunning.

A Work in Progress

There are a lot of punctuation and grammar problems here, and the story doesn’t flow very well. Everything is happening very quickly without much character development, even though in all honesty I’ve only read the first couple of chapters. This could definitely do with a lot of editing. The overall premise is good, but I don’t feel any connection.
Everything I’m saying here is meant purely as constructive criticism, to help make this work better. It has a lot of potential!

Psychic

This story is a refreshing take on some of the most poignant themes we have been seeing in our world today - fear, hate, prejudice. Using concepts like telepathy, telekinesis and awareness of space and matter, the authors have managed to make the reader almost feel as though this work of science fiction is on the brink of reality; and isn’t that a theme we see in the best works of the genre?
A beautiful narrative fleshed out with detailed back-stories of intricate characters, and a writing style that increases the heart rate and makes it impossible to put down.
Incredible work, and would definitely recommend.

When Dreams Become Reality

The storyline is sweet and endearing, the only criticisms I have is that it could do with some serious editing regarding use of exclamation marks, grammar, and repetition. Some of the language used in the more erotic scenes also reads a little amateurish due to the phrases used and some of the terms - there are a number of erotic thesauruses available online (hint!) that can be used when you want to use something other than “rod” or “pre-cum”. But otherwise, it’s an enjoyable book to read.

Absolutely Stunning

Beautifully written, wonderfully engaging, deliciously steamy… I read this in a day, it was impossible to put down. I was intrigued by the plot, breathing a little quickly from the intimacy, and wooed by the romance. It was effortless to feel for the characters and to become embroiled in the storyline. A stunning piece of work, truly.

Love Stained

Beautiful. Flowing, intriguing story. Twists and turns, links to past, present and future. I essentially read this in one sitting. Despite the fact that occasionally changes in perspective can make a story seem jumpy and scattered, these actually link well and make the story flow nicely. Really well written.

First read

Please take this as constructive criticism, as this is how it’s meant! I always want to help other writers to only become better at their craft.
The initial premise is a lovely, simple, teen romance; and yes, it’s been done to death, but it’s sometimes nice just to read a well-written one. The thing I can’t overlook is the grammar and punctuation issues; they make it very difficult to continue to read, despite a promising storyline. The flow is nice, but I think it helps the reader to acknowledge when you are writing from different perspectives by introducing a chapter with something like “Catherine” or “Catherine’s POV”, rather than skipping between without warning.
I would love to see the edited version! It seems like a sweet story!

It just had to be this story

This is stunning. Delving into ingrained racism and prejudice to show how it boils down to a simple choice between ignorance and an informed opinion - no one is entitled to be ignorant. The progression of this relationship is so beautiful, and so beautifully written, with so much insight into two sides of the same coin. I honestly had tears in my eyes at points. It is poignant, funny, clever, heartbreaking and uplifting all at once. A perfect story, and beautiful to read.

One Night

Refreshing is, I think, the best word I can use to describe this novella. Not a single one of the tired tropes can be found here. The perspective, the emotions, and working through emotions, is all done in such a subtle, analytical and yet lyrical way to make it impossible to stop reading. Stunning.

Destructively Oblivious

I’ve been staying away from the teenage romances lately, but this... beautifully written, with an easy flow making gorgeous use of the switching perspectives, was just so lovely to read. It reminds you of how beautiful love is when it’s based on friendship, and of appreciation for who someone is as a person, rather than just being skin-deep attraction.
Absolutely stunning, and I have to mention the use of one of my favourite terms of swearing, ‘fuck nugget’ - thank you for that!

Logan and Rae

This story is gorgeous on so many levels. It manages to delve into heart break, love and family so deeply without becoming cliche. It also unwraps a lot of things people don’t understand about anxiety, in particular social anxiety, which is something I have struggled with myself on a smaller level than Rae. This is a beautiful story, and I couldn’t put it down. Beautifully written, a perfect flow, and an engaging style of writing.

Red Watch

This is beautiful, I couldn’t put it down. Occasional grammatical errors couldn’t take away from the depth of the emotion that is portrayed here, the suspense, the raw grief, and the love. As an ED nurse, I found the camaraderie between the firies relatable and endearing. Stunning story, really well written.

Max & Cain

This story is fantastic! It manages to start with some beautifully written sex scenes, but paints a picture of entire people’s personalities and histories. Then it draws you into a thrill ride before ending with the proper, gooey-eyed romance. I couldn’t put it down, it’s gorgeous.

Need

Excellent plot, nice exploration of emotions, and lovely elements of intrigue. The writing style is lovely for the most part, but I struggled with the way it flipped between first person for Jessie and third person for Jason with no actual delineation to define it. There were times that it flipped almost in the middle of the paragraph which at times was distracting. But overall, a lovely story.

Seb & Lucy

Apart from some punctuation & grammar issues, this story is absolutely stunning. The fact that it is set in Australia got me too, as I live in Queensland! But the descriptions of the emotions, the insight into survivor’s guilt & PTSD, all combined with a stunning love story - gorgeous. Really well done.

It’s refreshing to find an even moderately original plot within this genre. Mixing wolves and dragons is a lovely concept, with an elegantly written background. A very good start to a series.

Review

Really enjoyed this overall. I did feel that the beginning was a bit rushed, and some of the emotions and mental struggles could have been explored in a bit more depth. The latter parts of the book did slow down somewhat, allowing for tension and exploring struggles, but could have done so even further. Overall, great plot with interesting twists.

A tiny couple of grammatical errors couldn’t take away from the emotion and drama of this story. Absolutely beautiful. In addition to the great reminder of how important it is to maintain communication even when having disagreements, especially when it comes to a relationship. Gorgeous.
