Not bad, but could use some work. You need to separate your paragraphs more and maybe use a grammar checker. Grammar issues aside, not a bad story. It feels a little rushed and I think it would help to go back and rewrite a few things, but the story really does have potential. Keep writing!

Something New

This story has immense potential. It is written from the sad, desperate perspective of a lonely bachelor. His life is as dull and uneventful as watching paint dry. His daily routines and drive to and from work only exacerbate his problem by giving him time to reflect, not on what could have been because that doesn't exist for him, but on what is. His co-workers are the worst kinds of people. His life is terrible. And I can't wait to read more about him. This story is a surreal narrative of a very real situation. Slice of life, eat your heart out, this story is as real as it gets. No sugar coating here! Thank you for a real story in a sea of candy fluff.

A very cute story! I love how you left a cliffhanger at the end, I think you ended it perfectly. I loved the way their relationship slowly grew. I think you wrote a wonderful story and I hope you'll publish more stories!
