Science fiction is the realm of the weird and wonderful\u2014where anything from freakish alien creatures to futuristic technology can come alive on the page. But while our stories often push the boundaries of reality, they still need to feel believable to readers.<\/p>\n

And by believable, I don\u2019t mean you have to convince your audience that your plasma-powered spaceship or hive-minded alien race actually<\/em> exists. You just have to invite them into your world\u2014and give them no reason to leave it rolling their eyes.<\/p>\n
