Prolouge
The belief in higher beings has existed since the beginning of man, that a being beyond man is the only power strong enough to create life itself. Evolution and natural selection is the belief of science, which would, in a sense, make science a religion. But, in a world heavily dependent on gods, it makes us forget who they were or what they meant to us. Men have been at war over religion for hundreds to thousands of years. The list of wars goes on, and it would be pointless to name each one. No belief is incorrect, but no belief is correct, either. Like science, beliefs changes, and that’s a part of life. No opinion can confirm that their god existed or that a man split the sea, and science can’t prove that man came from the monkey, fish, or a tree birthed from an extinct reptile.
But what if you lived in a world where the belief in gods and science was correct? Hard evidence suggesting evolution but also the existence of gods? A world where Crimirian, the thought, and worship of the Hanakian gods, was the only confirmed belief. In this world, no religion was wrong, but only one was correct.
And this is where our story begins.
