Masha and stars
Chapter 1: Masha and the stars
Stars. They’re beautiful. Starring into the night sky tends to help calm people down, right? Not with Masha. She hates stars. Like HATES them. She was born with the ability to cast defensive magic in the form of stars. Shields? Star shaped. Protective bubbles? Stars all over it. Even when casting fire the fire looks like stars. To others, this would be an incredible and fun power to have. But to Masha, she hated it. She was sick of seeing stars whenever she tried doing anything. She wasn’t known throughout her school for having star shaped and themed abilities but mostly because of her looks. She had black silky hair that when shun upon, appeared to have the highlight of a star in it. Her eyes were the most attractive feature though. They were purple. They were beautiful to look into. She also wore a necklace with a pick diamond on it.
Masha wasn’t popular but well known, she never had friends. She was known for being pretty but that was it. She wasn’t getting hit on or anything like that or often approached at all. It was lonely for her. It didn’t help that her parents were killed in an incident when she was 3-5. Every day, she went back to her decently sized home. It was kept neat because when Masha was done with her school work she often cleaned or else she had nothing to do.
It had been like this for years at this point. Because Masha was 3-5 when the incident happened, she remembers much to nothing. Only that her father gave her the necklace she wears around her neck. It was beautiful and when held under a light source it shone purplish. No one else knew anything about the incident or her parents and who they were. The incident happened 9 years ago. Making Masha 12-14.
Every morning she woke up for school. She packed her stuff, got in some morning practice with her abilities and headed off.
