Artie " AJ it's your last day of school ever hurry up and get down here your mother and I want to get there early to get front-row seats."
AJ from up the stairs " I'm on my way down now Dad don't worry."
AJ comes walking down the stairs to see his parents holding out a gift for him. AJ " You bought me a gift? Can I open it now?"
Sara says jokingly " Yes you can open it now why else would we have given it to you some valedictorian you are."
AJ rips open the gift revealing a set of keys. AJ " YOU GOT ME A CAR!? THANK YOU, MOM, DAD!"
Sarah and Artie " You're welcome son we love you very much and are so proud of you."
Sara " Alright AJ you can drive yourself there since I'm sure you are excited to test out your new car right?"
AJ " Awesome thank you, Mom."
Artie " Alright bud we will see you from the front row be safe kiddo. " AJ's parents leave ahead of him to make sure they get good seats. AJ is excited and runs out to see his new car a blue SUV. He runs to the car hopping in the driver's seat starting his vehicle and heading off toward his graduation ceremony.
AJ arrives at his high school to be greeted by his friend Sid.
Sid " Hey AJ what's going on man are you excited about your speech?"
AJ " Hey Sid, I'm kinda nervous but like my dad always says " An Eins doesn't have to stress we can think our way through anything."
Sid jokingly " You know that makes you seem like a narcissist man."
AJ laughed " Shut up man. Anyway, we should get going we only have 10 minutes left before the ceremony." AJ and Sid both go to their seats to get ready for the ceremony.
Principal Walkowsky in a microphone " Good Evening Parents we welcome you to join us in congratulating our class of xx graduates now allow us to begin."
The principle and the Vice principal give their speeches before then announcing the valedictorian to the stage.
AJ " Hello Classmates, Parents and Teachers I want to begin by thanking my parents who without I would never have made it this far so Mom and Dad thank you for all the hard work-" All of a sudden the projection turns from the school's PowerPoint to a video playing.
Mystery man " Hello AJ. I have some people here that I think you'd like to see one last time." The camera pans out revealing Artie and Sara tied up and beaten up very badly barely conscious.
AJ in shock " Mom, Dad what is this."
Mystery man " Now AJ since I'm doing you such a favor by letting you see them I think that I'm owed a favor now."
AJ" WHAT FUCKING FAVOR WOULD I EVER DO FOR YOU!"
Mystery man sternly " YOU WILL DO WHAT I ASK OR THE ONLY OTHER OPTION IS I KILL EVERYONE YOU CARE ABOUT RIGHT NOW WITH THE FLICK OF A SWITCH."
AJ's face is covered in horror and shock as he notices the wire running just under the curtain at the back of the stage. AJ stands in shock for what feels like forever hearing the panicked screams of everyone around him and the sound of sirens closing in.
In all the noise the only thing he keeps hearing are his father's words "An Eins doesn't have to stress we can think our way through anything."
AJ snaps out of his daze and says " What is it you want from me?"
Mystery man " I want you to choose."
AJ " Choose what?"
Mystery man maniacally laughing " Which parent do you want me to kill."
