~ Prologue ~
Heroes are always essential to fairy tales. Some have powers, some powerless. But everyone strives to be the hero of a story, don’t we? I mean, what would a story be without them? But, have you ever heard of someone who did not? Well, my friends, this is the story of Xander Evans, the boy who got sucked into this mess.
But, before I explain the story, we must start from the very beginning. And when I say the beginning, I mean the beginning to a new world. Allow me to tell you about it.
This world is none like no other. Instead of humans roaming this land, there are magical creatures. A king and queen rule the kingdom of Willsonge, their eldest son willing to take the throne. But, the forgotten one didn’t turn out so well…
Cedric, the second born, was envious of Lucius, the heir. Lucius loved his brother dearly, but his younger brother hated him. It got so bad that one day, Cedric sent his secret army to attack the palace. However, the guards were luckily able to defend the palace, but Cedric was gone before they could get him. Lucius felt betrayed at what Cedric had done. But that only left him and his little sister, Rui.
Rui was a sensitive soul, only being 12 when the palace was attacked. She was the nicer one out of the three. Yes, Lucius was nice, but he could be boastful. Rui never was though. She was always modest and humble. Some even say she’d make a great queen if she were the eldest.
But ever since Cedric’s betrayal, the land had grown dark. Strange crystals appear from out of nowhere. Lotus Vale was split in two, the good side being Willsonge, and the bad being Heirengrowth. The war had lasted 3 years now. And now, a new hero shall rise from the depths…
