Goosebumps

The world was dominated by different species in this type of economy. Demons, Werewolves, Vampires, Elves and Wizards, all of them lurked in the shadows and fought for a place on the lead. This world was filled with greed, lust and the ever on going war between these five species. The humans nowadays, didn’t hold any meaning. Not anymore. They’ve nearly destroyed the world with their selfish actions, so self-centered that they allowed the scum, the parts of the darker side to blossom.

Until they took over and ended humanity.

The two most powerful races, the vampires and werewolves, have been archenemies since centuries, both races hot headed and trying to slaughter each other. It was a constant fight of die and live. No one cared for the other, the species keeping under themselves if they weren’t trying to kill each other. Chaos erupted in the societies and greed corrupted the governments until they were ended. In this world, you were either in power or under power.

This world belonged to the strongest and the weaker were going to be crushed.

And in this world, being an Alpha blood, was equal to being king.

Calix Slater and Zeven Slater were born as Alpha bloods, as Purebloods. Alpha twins were rare, naturally more powerful compared to others and there has never been a pair of Purebloods as twins. Simply because not a single creature could survive long enough to give birth to these pure breed Alpha children. Especially not two at the same time.

But their mother has been an Alpha herself, strong and willed to give birth to her Babies. She was the bravest Alpha to exist and she died with a smile on her lips, her Babies pressed against her chest before she took her last breath. Naturally, her Mate, mad of sorrow, tried ending the ones responsible for the death of his Mate. He died from grief.

But the Wolf race, seeing the first to ever exist Alpha twins as their gifted leaders, took them away before they could get harmed. They were instead raced by the Alpha King, a powerful but elder wolf who took it upon himself to raise the two. As they came to a presentable age, they took over the throne and shared the crown.

Just like everything, Calix and Zeven shared everything. They were inseparable, said to be able to communicate even without words and their powers were legendary. Naturally, the other species loathed the two and planned to destroy them. But the two Kings, born leaders and dripping from dominance and power, took the challenge and fought bravely against them.

The only thing missing for them, was their Mate. Calix and Zeven were positive that they would share a Mate, just like how they shared everything. But their Mate, hopefully a male, was nowhere to be found. Years passed, and no sign of them appeared. The twins nearly gave up, and wondered, if besides all their power, were they even blessed with a Mate?

“Calix! Behind you!“, Zeven’s call caused the elder twin to spin around, slamming his sword into the body of a vampire, body in full jump with their teeth extended and ready to attack. He screeched when the silver hit him, his head falling from his shoulders and rolling onto the blood drenched grass.

During a nightly patrol, Zeven has discovered a group of vampires attacking a village, screams from their victims piercing through the air and he linked his brother before jumping to help. Only a few villagers have been alive, most of them either killed or dragged away by the vampires who split, half of them attacking the twins while the others dragged their victims away.

“Thanks Zev”, Calix said, snarling when he kicked a corpse away. These vampires have been a pain in their asses since a long time now, always crawling out of the shadows and attacking the wolf villages. They took young wolves with them, young on blood and left the villages in chaos and destruction. They held a special desire for Omegas as they held the sweetest of blood. They were the jewels of the wolf society, rare and beautiful, prized and the ones to carry the strongest cubs.

“T-they took m-my son! They are going to kill him aren’t they”, an old woman cried out when one of their soldiers, Cassander Skyes, helped her up, blood trickling down her temple but she seemed unfazed of it. “We will find him, don’t worry”, Cassander assured her while Zeven wandered through the dead bodies, grieving their loss.

“Cal! There’s a moving vampire!“, he suddenly exclaimed, hand roughly grabbing the collar of said vampire who hissed at them when he was dragged towards the other Alpha king. Calix moved towards them, steel in his eyes. His wild black hair was dancing around his face, the silver of his nose ring reflecting the light of the moon. His eyes glowed a dangerous red, mirroring the eyes of his twin brother.

Zeven’s blond hair was blood smeared, half ripped out of his ponytail and framing his face, the dark brows furrowed over blood red eyes furiously. “Tell us Scum where your camp is, and we’ll make your death quick”, Calix demanded to know in a dark growl. The vampire quivered in front of his power.

The twins weren’t the Kings of their race for no reason after all.
