Chapter 1: A Game of Hide and Seek in the backyard Turns Tragic.
On a clear, sunny day in the picturesque town of Salem, nestled on a farm at the north end, Lynette Rogers was joyfully engrossed in play outside the rustic Farmhouse with her brood of five. There was her 3-year-old toddler son, the lively Ben Rogers, her 5-year-old spirited daughter known as Gloria Rogers, her 8-year-old adventurous son named Keith Rogers, and her 10-year-old identical twin wonders, Craig and Lisa Rogers. At 44 years young, Lynette stood at a statuesque 5 feet 6 inches, boasting shoulder-length, golden ringlet blonde hair that gleamed in the sunlight, framing her captivating azure blue eyes. Meanwhile, her husband, Mark Rogers, was attending to his elderly parents, leaving Lynette to hold the fort. By day, she presides as a beacon of knowledge at the Salem Public Library, unfailingly demonstrating unwavering dedication as the most caring, kind, and helpful librarian in all the land. Moonlighting as a waitress at a cozy local restaurant during the night, she was everyone's favorite. Now, she found herself immersed in a lively game of hide and seek with the children. Lisa Rogers took on the role of the seeker, closing her eyes and beginning to count. As her mother and siblings scampered around to secure hiding spots, the excitement hung thick in the air.
As Lynette crouched behind the ancient Oak Tree, her friends scattered to their secret spots. Suddenly, a peculiar sensation washed over her – she was shrinking rapidly, diminishing in size with each passing moment. Smaller and smaller she became, down to the proportions of a mere sewing needle. Peering upward, she gazed in astonishment at the towering oak tree that loomed above her hiding place. Fear crept into her as she pondered the uncertain fate that awaited her.
With a mischievous grin, Lisa declared, 'Ready or not, here I come!' as she eagerly began her search for her mom and siblings.
Lisa embarked on a quest to find her mom and siblings, eventually coming across Ben, Gloria, Craig, and Keith. Despite their efforts, their mom remained elusive, prompting them to intensify their search, scouring every nook and cranny of the backyard in hopes of locating her. As Lynette gazed up at her towering children, fervently hunting for her amidst the chaos, she longed to signal her presence to them. However, she refrained from making any sudden movements, aware that any hasty actions on her part might result in her being inadvertently trampled under their massive feet. Lynette kept a close eye on them until they finally wandered off, a wave of realization washed over her as she understood they had abandoned their search for her. In an instant, tears welled up in Lynette's eyes. Heartbroken, she found herself abandoned by her own children in the midst of tall grass that resembled a dense jungle to her.
In an instant, Lynette came to the daunting realization that she needed to stay vigilant amidst a menagerie of creatures - from Cats and Birds to Grasshoppers, Ants, and various other Animals. Lynette's ears perked at the sound of approaching footsteps, her heart quickened with a mix of curiosity and amusement. To her surprise, her vivacious 3-year-old son, Ben, emerged before her. As she gazed up at his towering frame, she couldn't help but marvel at the giant before her. Ben's eyes met hers, and a warm smile graced his face. In a tender gesture, he scooped her up in his pint-sized arms, creating a shield from the prying eyes of his siblings. With determination in his stride, he began the journey back to the house, cradling Lynette as if she were a precious treasure. She felt the motion as he ascended the stairs, traversed the hallway, and reached his destination—the welcoming oasis of his bedroom. Setting down gently on the table, she found herself surrounded by miniature wonders, nestled beside a quaint Playskool house.

Lynette was taken aback when Ben mistook her for a doll. With gentle care, Ben carried his Little Mother into the house. She stepped onto the smooth plastic floor and began to explore her surroundings. The living room beckoned, boasting a cozy kitchenette complete with a table, chair, sink, stove, fridge, and cupboards. Ascending the plastic stairs, she discovered a quaint bathroom and a serene bedroom. Fatigue settling in, Lynette made her way to the bed, sinking onto its edge. Ben placed a small pillow stuffed with soft cotton balls beside her, and she slipped off her little shoes. Casting a fond glance at her lively 3-year-old toddler son, she returned his smile before reclining on the plush pillow. Her shoulder-length wavy ringlet blonde locks left their trace on the pillow as she lay down. Ben tenderly covered her with a snug blanket, eliciting a smile from Lynette as she slowly shut her eyes and succumbed to slumber.

In a soft whisper, Ben tenderly said, "Sweet Dreams Mommy," while gently stroking the back of his mom's hair with his little finger.
He left her alone to slumber, envisioning her immersed in a wondrous dream, a gentle smile gracing her sleeping face. He wished for her to be wrapped in a blissful reverie. As Lynette peacefully slumbered, she found herself immersed in a delightful dream. In this reverie, she and her husband Mark were joined by their children Ben, Gloria, Keith, Craig, and Lisa on a charming picnic. The family chatter, laughter, sandwich munching, and lemonade sipping created a scene of pure joy. While Ben, Gloria, Keith, Craig, and Lisa engaged in a spirited game of Frisbee, Mark and Lynette observed with smiles, cherishing the special moments together. They exchanged smiles until Mark informed his wife of his need to visit the restroom. As he got up and made his way toward the men's facilities a few feet away, Lynette found herself growing increasingly puzzled about her husband's prolonged absence. Concerned, she decided to search for him. Standing up, she headed to the men's restroom, only to find it deserted, leaving her startled. Returning to their gathering spot, she discovered that Ben, Gloria, Keith, Craig, and Lisa were nowhere to be found. A sense of panic overcame her as she frantically began searching for her husband and children. Abruptly, she snapped awake, drenched in sweat, and gradually eased back into her senses. As she looked over, she caught sight of her energetic 3-year-old son, Ben, using toilet paper to wipe away her sweat. A smile immediately brightened her face as she watched him in action.
Don't worry, Mommy. I'll take care of you. I won't let anyone hurt you," Ben said as he was looking at her.
"Oh, Ben, Mommy loves you so much," Lynette cooed in a gentle voice.
Ben replied lovingly, "I love you too, Mommy", and embraced his mom tenderly.
Lynette let out a deep sigh, finding solace in the thought that her 3-year-old bundle of energy, Lively Toddler son Ben, would be there to protect her until she returned to her usual size. When she finally returned to her usual self, she would embrace her toddler son Ben tightly, giving him a warm and loving hug. After Ben carefully placed his beloved Little Mommy inside the charming Playskool Dollhouse, Lynette eased herself back onto the cozy bed and drifted back into a peaceful slumber. As dawn broke, Lynette was stirred awake by the symphony of her empty stomach rumbling. With determination in her eyes, she rose from her cozy bed and descended the echoing plastic stairs to the kitchen. As she enjoyed her breakfast, she peered through the window of Ben's room and watched fondly as her children embarked on their journey to school. Feeling a wave of loneliness, Lynette sought solace in the familiarity of her Playskool Dollhouse, where she nestled onto the tiny bed and succumbed to sleep. As Lynette was caught in the grips of another haunting nightmare, her vibrant 3-year-old son, Ben, took matters into his own hands. With unwavering determination, he decided to surprise his mother by bringing her along to his Kindergarten class. Tenderly cradling her in his tiny hand, he carefully tucked her away in his jacket pocket, creating a cozy little sanctuary for her. Stepping out onto the sidewalk, Ben embarked on his journey towards the school bus stop, his precious cargo nestled safely beside him. Poking her head out of the jacket pocket, Lynette gazed in awe at the breathtaking sight before her - the trees adorned with vibrant yellow and orange leaves, a clear sign of the changing seasons. A gentle breeze caressed her face, carrying with it a sense of serenity and peace. As she gazed up at her lively toddler son Ben, who was taking his confident steps, she met his eyes and was greeted with an endearing smile. Their moment was cut short as they arrived at the school bus stop, where Lynette instinctively sought refuge inside Ben's oversized jacket. The school bus rumbled into view, halting at the sidewalk curb. With a racing heart, Lynette sensed Ben ascending the steps of the bus, traversing the narrow aisle, and finally settling into a seat. A wave of bittersweet emotions washed over her as the school bus set in motion, embarking on its journey towards the school. One hour later, the school bus finally arrived at Salem Elementary School. Lynette could sense Ben's presence as he made his way through the aisle and descended the stairs. She watched him embark on his journey to the Kindergarten classroom, where he promptly hung his jacket on his designated hook. Peeking out from the doorway, Lynette witnessed Ben confidently striding towards his desk as the classroom buzzed with the start of the lesson. Her eyes were fixed on her young son, immersed in his assignments, a proud smile adorning her face. Observing him being kind to his classmates and willingly sharing toys with them, she felt compelled to leave for the bathroom. She emerged from Ben's jacket pocket, made her way out of Ben's kindergarten classroom, and headed towards the bathroom. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching and spotted another boy watching her, extending his hand toward her. Lynette's response was immediate - she let out a piercing scream. Abruptly, she awoke, her heart pounding as she took deep, rapid breaths to regain her composure.
