Perspective and Truth
Life is perspective, and perspective is always changing. We don't always see life in the same light because the light is constantly changing. I don't always get to see life in the same light. As we grow, each age carries a certain light, a certain point of view, a rather distinguished perspective. These perspectives help us learn. Ideally, I believe each perspective comes with its own lesson.
Life is a teacher, in a way I would love to say, but I'm sure we all basically know that; we've all learned a thing or two. I like my current light, though; it's like being enlightened in a positive way. I've learned to embrace my flaws, turning my negatives into positives. Life is always bringing lessons along the way. These lessons are sometimes learned through facing various challenges. As we all know, there's nothing like a sweet life; you always have to carry some sort of weight. I'm sure you know what I mean—either it be pain, stress, or the like.
But again, like Kahlil Gibran said, "Pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding." It's like being enlightened in a way, though much of the pain we endure is self-chosen. It's the bitter potion through which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore, trust the physician and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility. For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen.
Furthermore, we have to appreciate the fact that there's a cause behind every effect. You can't love the cause and later hate the effect. I might be seeing things from a different perspective, but I believe the truth about life is that almost 99% of the time, we get what we put in. I've left that one percent for instances where we just put in a negative cause and receive a positive effect. I'm sure we've all been fortunate enough to experience that in a way. If not, we're still living, and you might experience it sooner or later. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction—something a philosopher named Newton stated in his "Newton's third law." This notion can be appreciated in more than one sense. It means we can't only see it from the perspective of a physician. It can be looked at from another perspective as well, though there are certain instances where some actions don't give equal and opposite reactions, keeping that one percent in mind, if you know what I mean.
However, let's learn to embrace this journey called life. It's a gift full of wonderful lessons if we're willing to learn, and I'm mostly certain by The Almighty's Grace, we'll definitely maneuver through it. I'm so anxious to see what the future holds while grounded in the present and unbothered about the past. I don't live by the notion that history repeats itself; that's something I don't really believe in—no offense. I believe we evolve each day. Each lesson pushes us to evolve; it's just human nature.
Just before you leave, though, I'd love to see how the reader perceives this ideology. Is there really truth, or is it merely perspective? Do you think truth exists, and is it not ideally controlled by perspective?
Cause essentially while there may be universal truths, the way we perceive and relate to them is subjective and varies with our experiences and growth.Tell me what you think ?
