Chapter 1
In the year 2256, humanity had colonized several planets in the distant reaches of the galaxy. The United Earth Government had established a program to explore and settle new worlds, and the spaceship Aurora was one of the most advanced vessels in the fleet.
As the Aurora approached the planet Xylophia-IV, Captain Jaxon gazed out at the swirling purple clouds and wondered what secrets the planet held. Suddenly, the ship was rocked by a massive energy wave, and the engines failed.
The crew scrambled to repair the damage, but it soon became clear that they were not alone on the planet. A strange, glowing entity emerged from the clouds, its eyes fixed on the ship.
