Chapter 1:the beginning
Harry Osborn entered his home, beaming with joy, eager to share his good news with his father, Norman Osborn—CEO of Osborn Biotech—after proposing to Mary Jane. But his excitement turned to shock when he found his father’s lifeless body lying on the bed with fatal wounds, and "Black Suit Spider-Man" standing nearby. Spider-Man escaped through the window, igniting Harry’s rage.
A voice echoed from the mirror, chanting, *“Avenge me… avenge me…”* as a ghostly figure resembling Norman Osborn materialized. Unbeknownst to Harry, this apparition was the manifestation of the **Green Goblin**. The specter continued to urge him toward vengeance.
The voice then commanded, *“Go to the secret room behind the mirror and take the serum to claim your power!”* Harry entered the room and discovered a warning letter from his father, pleading with him to abandon this path and live a normal life, as the serum would strip him of his free will. Ignoring the plea, Harry analyzed the serum and found it contained a modified adrenaline hormone designed to turn humans into vessels of pure rage.
By reversing the hormone’s formula and injecting it into himself, Harry transformed into a green-hued entity—an **Anti-Goblin**—an inverse version of the Goblin’s power. This granted him temporary control over his newfound abilities before he reverted to his human form.
Right off the bat we get Black suit Spider-Man. How did the goblin die in this universe? Good hook.
