Chapter 1
introduction - A Dream in the Making
For the past two years, Livin had poured his heart and soul into his dream startup. He spent countless sleepless nights, conducted endless research, and made numerous revisions—all to turn his dream into reality.
After six months of applying for funding for his project. If approved, it would be the breakthrough he had been waiting for. But along with hope came fear—what if he was rejected? He had given everything to this project, and now, all he could do was wait.
Days turned into weeks. Hope slowly turned into anxious impatience. Then, one afternoon, a letter arrived from bank.
Chapter 1: The Letter of Rejection
Livin sat at his messy desk, surrounded by piles of papers and empty coffee cups. The glow from his laptop was the only light in the room. His hands shook as he held an envelope. He tore it open and read the words:“Your project fund is rejected.”
His heart sank. All the hard work, the late nights, the sacrifices—it felt like it was all for nothing. He crumpled the letter and threw it aside. Frustrated, he closed his laptop and rested his head on it, feeling completely defeated.
Just then, the lights went out. The room turned pitch black. Livin sighed and reached for his phone to use its flashlight for light . But as he moved, he accidentally knocked over a stack of old files. One file fell to the floor, unnoticed.
Chapter 2: A Forgotten Gift
As Livin turned on his phone’s flashlight, his eyes fell on the fallen file. Something about it caught his attention.
He picked it up and dusted it off. The label read“Father’s Gift.”
Curious, he opened it. Inside were dozens of old drawings—his childhood sketches. He flipped through them, his breath hitching.
At the bottom of each drawing was his father’s familiar signature.
A tear slipped down his cheek. As a child, every time he drew something, his father would sign it with pride. It was his way of showing appreciation, encouragement, and love.
Livin remembered how he used to run to his father after every drawing, excited to get his signature. To him, it wasn’t just ink—it was a mark of his father’s belief in him.
Looking at those signatures now, he felt something stir within him—a reminder that his father had always believed in him.
Chapter 3: A Renewed Spirit
Livin wiped his tears and held the drawings close. He realized his father’s support had always been there—he just needed to remember it.
Feeling stronger, he turned his laptop back on. Just then, the power came back. He smiled. Was it a coincidence? Or was it his father’s way of telling him to keep going?
With new energy, Livin got back to work. This time, he wasn’t just doing it for to make approval of fund on his project or success. He was doing it for the dream his father always believed in and make it real. He wanted to achieve something amazing—something that would make his dad proud.
Chapter 4: The Letter of Success
Months later, Livin found another envelope at his door. His hands shook as he picked it up and opened it. This time, the letter said:“Congratulations! For your project fund has been approved.”
Livin’s heart raced with excitement. He held the letter tightly and looked at his father’s photo on his desk. Next to it was his dad’s old pen. Livin placed the success letter beside the photo and pen, feeling a deep sense of peace.
As he stood there, a single drop of ink fell from the pen onto the letter. It spread slowly, like a quiet reminder. Livin smiled, knowing his father was still with him in spirit.
With newfound confidence, he walked away, carrying his success with him.
