The first thing I noticed when I woke up was how unbelievably bad my head hurt, and the second thing I noticed was that I wasn't alone in my bed. When I slowly opened my eyes, I cringed at the bright sunlight spilling into the room, and my head felt tremendously worse. For a split second, I thought it was her lying next to me. But, as fast as the thought came to my mind, it immediately vanished when I realized it wasn't her.

I could still imagine her lying next to me if I closed my eyes. Her long dark-brown hair framed her heart-shaped face and sprawled across her pillow while she hazily opened her beautiful caramel-colored eyes to give me a sleepy smile that instantly stopped my heart. I quickly opened my eyes and shook her image from my thoughts then slowly started to climb out of bed.

Apparently, the woman lying next to me was the lightest sleeper in the world because her head snapped up, and she grinned at me. I gave her a small smile as I quickly pulled on my clothes, and she sat up in the bed while clutching the bedsheet to her chest. "Where are you going?" She asked groggily.

"I've got to head out. I have a flight leaving soon, but I'll have my driver take you home." I said as I tied my shoes, and she nodded her head. She climbed out of bed, not trying to hide her body, and I smirked at her confidence. Even though I regretted sleeping with her, she did have a nice ass body. I quickly looked away from her when she noticed me staring, and she grinned widely.

"I can't believe I hooked up with Luke Carter." She said under her breath as she got dressed. I rolled my eyes and then hurriedly made my way to the door.

"Get home safe." I said as I waved goodbye and exited the room as fast as I possibly could, but I could hear her yelling after me to call her as I walked faster toward the elevator.

Once I was safely inside, I rested my head back against the wall as it made its way down toward the hotel lobby and closed my eyes to help ease my migraine. I promised myself I wouldn't hook up with any more random girls because I hated the way I felt after, but apparently, my drunk brain didn't get the memo. I pinched the bridge of my nose as I scolded myself for acting so immature and sighed once the elevator doors opened.

"There you are!" I heard my manager, Colton, say, and I noticed him getting up from the couch in the lobby. "Slept in again, I see." Colton said as he noticed me wearing the same outfit from last night, and I nodded.

"Can you make sure that girl up in my room gets home safely?" I asked him, and Colton nodded.

"Already on it, Luke. Always the gentleman." He teased, and I smirked at him as I shook my head. I knew it wasn't right of me to use women for fun, but I couldn't be in a relationship, not after what I did to the last girl I loved. "We gotta go. You need to be in Los Angeles by four for soundcheck, and we're already running late, and you know how the label gets when we're late." Colton snapped me out of my thoughts as he started to escort me toward the car, followed by our security, and I tried my hardest not to think of her for the rest of the day, which I always failed at.

I felt the guilt of breaking both of our hearts start clawing at me, and I suddenly felt the urge to drink. This is how my days always started: I would start thinking about her, and I would just get lost in the depression of how much I missed her, and how bad I felt that I would need to get blacked out drunk just to numb the pain.
