I looked up and saw that a cloud was coming closer and closer to my boyfriend and I.

“Look, Grant,” I said, “that cloud is acting very strangely.”

He looked up towards the cloud and said, “Ummmm, Carrie… I don’t think that’s a cloud…”

I was surprised and said, “What else could it be?” and he frowned and said, “I don’t know… But it doesn’t seem like a cloud to me…”

Then the “cloud” reached us and I couldn’t see the sky anymore because the “cloud” was blocking me from seeing anything! I couldn’t even see Grant, and he was right next to me!

“Are you still there, Grant?” I said worriedly; and I felt his hand reach out and and feel my arm, and then I moved my hand so that it would be holding his.

“Still here!” he said, “Because that would be really unfortunate if some other dude just started holding your hand and you thought that I was the one holding your hand!”

“Can you see?” I asked; and Grant said, “Nope! Can’t see… I told you that this ain’t a cloud…”

“Maybe we should try to walk away from the cloud…” I said; but then I suddenly felt us lift off from the ground!

“Whaaaaa????” Grant said in surprise; and I was in shock too and said, “Well… I guess walking away won’t work anymore…”

“Who are you!?!” Grant said accusingly at the “cloud”, “And are you going to just fly us up and then drop us somewhere?!?”

There was no response from the “cloud”, and I said, “This could be really bad… I wonder what the hell is happening!!!”

“Well, clouds are usually more of a Heaven sort of thing,” Grant said hopefully, “and so maybe this’ll be more heavenly than it is hellish…”

“That would be nice…” I said, “Though I’m having a hard time imagining an explanation for this that wouldn’t be bonkers!… I mean, unless we’re asleep, of course… This wouldn’t be all that crazy for a dream.”

“What do you think the odds are that we’re dreaming?” Grant asked curiously; and I said, “Probably like 99.999%, to be honest!… And what do you think that the odds are?”

“I dunno…” Grant said uncertainly, “I mean, I’d love for it to turn out that this is just a dream, but I feel pretty awake, and so I’d say that the odds that we’re dreaming are like 20% or so.”

Then a voice said, “Hahaha! That’s cute that you two think that you’re dreaming, but I’m actually taking you to another world so that you can complete a mission!”

“Are you the cloud?” I asked, “And couldn’t you have asked us for permission first?”

“I am indeed a cloud!” the cloud said!, “And I have my orders!, and I’m simply following them. You can ask the Queen why you weren’t allowed to choose whether to go on this mission or not once we reach the castle!”

“Is there a King too?” Grant asked; and the cloud said, “Not at the moment! Or, at least, not a free King! The King has been captured!, and you two are going to help us free him!”

“So who’s gonna free us?” I asked, “I mean, that’s sad that the King got captured, but that doesn’t justify capturing us too!”

“As I said, I’m just following orders!” the cloud said, “And so asking those questions to me doesn’t do much good!”

“And why do you have to follow the orders?” Grant asked, “I mean, are you a robotic cloud or something?”

“I have to follow the orders because they were given by the QUEEN!” the cloud said, “And disobeying the Queen is unthinkable!, especially considering the fact that the King is missing!”

“What’s unthinkable is kidnapping random people and forcing them to complete a mission for you…” I grumbled, “And what makes your Queen so confident that we’ll even be able to help her free the King!”

“Unfortunately, that’s another question that I don’t know the answer to.” the cloud said, “But!, we’re almost to the castle now, and you can ask the Queen once we arrive!”

“Almost there, eh?” Grant said, “And that means… like… 5 minutes until we get there?…”

“It means that we have now arrived!” the cloud said cheerfully!; and then I suddenly! felt that there was ground beneath my feet again!

Then I heard a new voice (that sounded like it was coming from behind me) said, “Thanks, Fluffy! These two will be perfect for the job! I just know it!” and then I quickly! turned around and saw a castle and a Queen!…
